For my Week 4 matchup I had to turn to the great streams that many WI HS programs put out each week. After narrowing down the long list, I decided to turn into the showdown between Somerset and Prescott, and I am so glad I did. This game had everything! College prospects, big plays from both sides, momentum swings, lead changes, and clutch plays/drives. Let's dive into how the full game played out.

This started hot as Prescott QB Teddy Bernick found junior WR [player_tooltip player_id='480440' first='Will' last='Packard'] for the first of what ended up being three TD connections between them. The second came on the next drive. Packard took the quick slant and used the track speed to simply outrun the entire field on his way to the 14-0 lead. However, no lead was safe in this game. Early in the second quarter, Somerset rising junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='685904' first='Kane' last='Donnelly'] found WR Caeden Kreibich for a TD on 4th down. Prescott kept the pressure on Somerset though as super productive RB/DB Barrett Temmers pounded in a short TD for the 21-6 lead. Just before the first half ended, Somerset narrowed the deficit to 14-21 on a [player_tooltip player_id='685904' first='Kane' last='Donnelly'] scramble TD.

Somerset kept this rolling on offense early in the second half. WR/DB Jack Krier took the reverse handoff, and raced around the left edge for the score, and lead following the two point conversion. Then Jack Krier made a huge splash on defense, jumping a quick pass and going all the way for a pick six. The tides had really swung towards Somerset as they jumped to a 30-21 lead. Teddy Bernick and Prescott weren't counting themselves out, though. Bernick dropped back and found WR Nolan Thomley to make it a 28-30 game. Then they took the lead back when Bernick and Packard connected for their third score of the game. Somerset remained poised. QB [player_tooltip player_id='685904' first='Kane' last='Donnelly'] again delivered a clutch 4th down pass to WR Nick Tollackson for the 36-36 tie. Then Donnelly lead the Somerset offense on a long, time consuming, QB run heavy drive that milked the 4th quarter away until Kane ran it in himself to take the lead, and give us our final score of 44-36! The win moved Somerset to 2-2 and Prescott to 3-1.

Best Prospects of the Game
