Thatcher continued his strong, efficient play completing 12/17 passes for 230 yards and 3 TDs in Arbor View's 38-0 win over Coronado. He's been particularly accurate to the short-intermediate areas in his last two outings and looks more comfortable navigating the pocket each week. Thatcher and the AV offense close out September against tough defenses on the road with Desert Pines and Bishop Gorman up next.

Cortez found senior WRs [player_tooltip player_id='506033' first='Chase' last='Otteson'] and Asher Jackson for 2 TDs each on his way to 225 yards and 5 TDs on 14/23 passing. He's a fluid, natural athlete that can get the ball out quick from the pocket and threaten with his legs, adding another 75 rushing yards and a TD on 11 carries. Cortez has 18 total TDs (11 pass, 7 rush) in Virgin Valley's 4-1 start.

Rios accounted for over half of Reed's total yards totaling 213 yards and 2 TDs on 28 carries. Only a sophomore, Rios has been Nevada's most productive back so far this season with 850 yards and 8 TDs. He's a tough, physical runner that provides a powerful downhill running attack. Reed starts league play against McQueen this week.

Sellers was productive and efficient with his 14 carries averaging over 10 ypc on the ground for a total of 184 yards and 4 TDs. He continues to show great vision behind the LOS seeing lane development and can bounce/cut to the hole with square shoulders and low pad level. He's also an active, physical S on defense, adding an INT in the 43-0 win over Wooster. Sellers is one of the more underrated two-way players in Nevada's 5A Division.

Oliver showed big-play ability racking up 8 catches for 202 yards and a TD in a 39-41 shootout loss to Foothill. He showed natural talent and skillset with creative releases off the LOS and finished contested catches with strong hands, including a highlight one-handed goal line fade for a TD. The junior WR has drawn interest from several MW programs including Nevada, SDSU, Utah St., and an offer from Colorado St.
