Loyola vs St. Rita

Undefeated Loyola will be on the road Friday night to take on (4-1) St. Rita. St. Rita's only loss so far was to Mt. Carmel. Loyola has been rolling through their schedule through the first 5 weeks. I look for this to be an exciting game with a ton of talent on the field.

Key players (St Rita): Senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='253446' first='Jett' last='Hilding'] - 6'4 190, Senior RB [player_tooltip player_id='271812' first='Derrick' last='Stewart'] - 6'0 220, Junior RB [player_tooltip player_id='352897' first='Nick' last='Herman'] - 6'0 185

Key Players (Loyola): Senior EDGE [player_tooltip player_id='891211' first='Ethan' last='Hogg'] - 6'4 220, Senior OL [player_tooltip player_id='436477' first='Kyle' last='Baltazar'] - 6'3 270, Senior DT [player_tooltip player_id='271781' first='Joe' last='Kelly'] - 6'2 265

Prediction: Loyola - I believe the Ramblers will control the line of scrimmage to move to 6-0 on the year.

Prospect vs Hersey

Hersey as looked like the real deal in the first half of the season. They have a ton of talent on the offense, paired with an offense scheme that can get their player-makers the ball. Prospect is entering this game with one loss on the year to Barrington in week 2. Prospect flys around on defense with toughness and a lot of effort.

Key Players (Hersey): Junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='830851' first='Colton' last='Gumino'] - 6'2 188, Junior TE [player_tooltip player_id='830242' first='Logan' last='Farrell'] - 6'3 235, Senior WR [player_tooltip player_id='354265' first='Carson' last='Grove'] - 5'111 185

Key Players (Prospect): Senior LB [player_tooltip player_id='271805' first='Grady' last='Catanzano'] - 6'1 225, Junior QB Jack Skoog - 6'3 170, Senior EDGE Matt Schacke - 6'3 195

Prediction: Hersey - Hersey has too many weapons on offense that can hurt a defense, I believe Gumino will keep feeding those guys.

York vs Downers Grove North

I look for this game to be the best of the week. Both teams are entering the game undefeated and playing some really good football. Neither team have given up many points on defense, so I would not be surprised to see this being a low scoring game on Friday night. One thing will be for certain, Carstens Field will be rocking.

Key Players (DGN): Senior LB [player_tooltip player_id='326053' first='Cael' last='Brezina'] - 6'3 215, Junior WR [player_tooltip player_id='205735' first='Charlie' last='Cruse'] - 6'1 185, Senior RB [player_tooltip player_id='252513' first='Noah' last='Battle'] - 5'11 200

Key Players (York): Senior WR [player_tooltip player_id='252455' first='Luke' last='Mailander'] - 6'0 175, Senior LB Cole Ostendorf - 5'11 200, Senior QB Sean Winton - 6'2 185

Prediction: York - I look for York to lean on their defense and come away with a tough road victory on Friday night.
