Our top-ranked player in the state, Martin, chose North Carolina State over nearly 30+ scholarship offers. Other notable offers for Martin included Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Miami (OH), Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Washington State, and West Virginia.
The 6-foot-4, nearly 280-pound Martin is one of the best offensive linemen in the region and has all the makings to be a multi-year starter for the Wolfpack down the road. Strong pass rusher and a road grader when it comes to run blocking.
Lewis will join Robby Martin Robby Martin 6’4″ | 275 lbs | OL Huntington | 2024 State WV in Raleigh. He chose the Wolfpack over offers from Eastern Kentucky, Marshall, and Toledo. The 6-foot-2 linebacker is a highly athletic linebacker who shows a high football IQ, which makes up for any time in which his athletics may be overmatched. Could ultimately play any linebacker spot for the Wolfpack down the road but probably projects best to be a starting middle linebacker for the program.
The top prospect staying in state is Cabell Midland’s Curtis Jones Jr Curtis Jones Jr 6’2″ | 210 lbs | LB Cabell Midland | 2024 State WV , who committed to West Virginia at the end of the month. Jones picked the Mountaineers over Eastern Kentucky, Marshall, and Toledo.
Jones has had a big offseason on the camp circuit, including a stop in Morgantown that eventually earned him the opportunity to commit to the Mountaineers. A top-notch athlete that much like Lewis could probably play any of the three linebacker positions at the next level.
Long committed to Marshall in July after earning 20+ scholarship offers from around the FBS and FCS levels. Early on, Long earned multiple Power Five looks, but most of his opportunities would come from Group of Five programs. He’ll be staying in state and attending Marshall, choosing the Thundering Herd over App State, East Carolina, Umass, Miami (OH), and Toledo, among other offers, which included an IVY League offer from Columbia.
The 2024 pro-style quarterback has good size at 6-foot-2 with quality arm strength and accuracy.
Harris made his commitment to Kent State in June after an official visit. Prior to his commitment, Harris earned multiple Group of Five looks as well as looks from West Virginia. Ultimately, he landed with the Golden Eagles, who are looking to build something special under first-year head coach Kenni Burns. Harris is a superb route runner with good speed and athleticism. Plenty of star potential for him at Kent State.

Robinson committed to West Virginia in April, picking the Mountaineers over Old Dominion and Temple. To go along with good size at 5-foot-10 / 5-foot-11, Robinson has a good amount of speed to his game with reported forty-yard dashes in the 4.5 range. Has been productive for Jefferson and still has an opportunity to finish as the state’s top wide receiver in the final 2024 rankings.
The state’s top defensive line had a mixture of FCS and Group of Five offers, nabbing double-digit offers before committing to Marshall. He committed to the Thundering Herd earlier this summer. Other offers included Akron, App State, James Madison, Kent State, Toledo, and Western Michigan. Lunsford is a high-ceiling edge rusher who is just beginning to scratch his potential.
Fenwick chose William & Mary over offers from Elon, UMass, and Old Dominion. He earned numerous other FBS interests in his recruitment before his commitment. Fenwick has prototypical quarterback size at 6-foot-3 with plus arm strength and a nice touch on his ball. Going to a great program that knows how to develop talent at a high level – very excited about his potential with the Tribe.

Our fourth-ranked offensive lineman announced his commitment to Brown on Thursday evening. Had multiple offers from the Division II level as well in his recruitment. The John Marshall offensive lineman has quite a bit of upside and is landing in a well deserved spot with Brown.
TOP UNCOMMITTED PROSPECTS
After Old Dominion offered Clement in June of 2022, the do-it-all athlete received his second D1 offer this summer from Morgan State. Tremendous athlete who is one of the best quatebacks and defensive backs in the state.
We’re pretty high on Jonny Aya-ay Jonny Aya-ay 5’9″ | 155 lbs | K Huntington | 2024 State WV , as you could probably tell by him being 10th in our state rankings! The Huntington native is not just the top kicker in the state but one of the top kickers in the country. He’ll certainly be headed to the FBS level. Has earned offers from Marshall and Akron but could potentially be a walk-on at a Power Five program.
Really nice offensive line prospect who has earned multiple D2 offers an offer from Maine, and an offer from West Virginia as a preferred walk-on. Really intriguing prospect in the trenches who still is only scratching his surface in our opinion.
The Hurricane defensive lineman recently picked up an FCS offer from Eastern Kentucky. His recruitment could take off with a strong senior season this fall. He might be a bit undersized, but shows a great job at getting leverage and good hand-fighting skills.
Blazing fast wide receiver prospect who ran a 4.25 at a West Virginia camp. Has earned multiple Division II offers but has the upside to be an FBS walk-on. He opened a lot of eyes this camp season and now he’ll look to follow it up with a strong senior season.
