JD Catena, FS/SS, 2024 – JD is a very good football player with lots of upside. Last season he was named to the All Ohio team and looks to capitalize on that momentum in 2023. He is tall at 6’0 and very athletic. He plays deep as a Free Safety and lines up at Strong Safety based on the call. He is patient with his reads. He has great backpedal technique with sharp cuts once the ball declares. He plays zone coverage really well and stays on top. He hammers #2 and keeps them out of the seams. He breaks quickly when needed and is a good tackler. He has a nose for the ball and high points it well. JD will be a known commodity by the end of the season.
Westland HS
Travon Nukes, WR, 2026 – Travon is a going to be a great football player from the Central Ohio area. He is athletic and twitchy. He runs good routes for a young player and has goo top end snap. He can get off man coverage and stack. He can settle down in voids. He catches out in front of his body and has good YAC burst. He can play multiple positions on the field and make plays. Keep an eye on him as he gets older.
Archbishop Alter
Nolan Ogburn Nolan Ogburn 6'2" | 210 lbs | ATH Archbishop Alter | 2026 OH , DE/OLB/Hybrid, 2026 – Nolan is going to be a great football player and was utilized heavily last season due to his athleticism. He aligns all over the field at multiple positions. At DL comes off the ball quickly and gets to lockout. He keeps his gaps and escapes. He makes plays in the gaps and gets over the top fast when needed. At LB he reads plays well and fills the gaps aggressively. He is a great blitzer making plays routinely in the backfield. Did the camp circuit this past summer and will continue to make a name for himself.
Carter Sheets, WR, 2024 – Don’t sleep on Carter. He stands 6’3 and weighs in at 170 pounds. He is lightning fast and can blow past Corners and Safeties. He runs precise routes with good top end snap. He catches out in front of his body and has quick downfield acceleration. He is a matchup nightmare in the redzone. He can outjump almost everyone. His blocking is sound and he competes. Keep a good eye on him this season.
Chaminade Julienne
Colin Kadel, DB, 2025 – Colin is a great football player and a rising star in the 2025 class. He plays Corner out of a tilt and is patient with his reads. He has a quick T break and breaks up a lot of passes. He stays on top of the routes and battles for the ball in the air. He has a knack for turnovers and is always around the ball. He can play multiple defensive positions at a high level. Keep an eye on Colin in 2023.
