Can also align more inside and win on first step and make tackles behind the LOS. Tough defender, high academic prospect.

Ogburn is a player I’ve liked for a while. He already possesses the frame and build of a D1 linebacker. I like him as a middle linebacker at the next level. In the LB drills he showed good movement and explosiveness are plus for his size. In the 1v1’s he showed the ability to get downhill quickly and square the ball carrier. With his size and ability to run he’s a definite playmaker at the next level. I’d be very surprised if Nolan didn’t burst onto the D1 recruiting scene this offseason.

Nolan played great as a Sophomore in 2023 (96 Tkl, 14 TFL, 8 Sacks, 5 PBU and 2 FR). His outstanding play helped the Archbishop Alter Knights to a 12-win season where they held opposing offenses to 10.9 points per game and advance to the Division IV Championship game. He plays as an OLB. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and quickly penetrates the LOS. He plays with good instincts and range in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL. Against the pass, he shows excellent quickness off the ball and easily defeats the OT with his quality play speed. He shows great closing speed in pursuit before finishing up with a sack.
