Offensive Tackle Kody Strayhorn Kody Strayhorn 6’3″ | 270 lbs | OL CA is a UA All-American with legit size as a youngster. Watching this workhorse pop out of his stance and put paws on defensive lineman is unfair. He plays with great pad level and finishes blocks. Multiple Power 5 colleges have had him in on unofficial visits. Big bro is doing his thing upfront at IMG Academy as well, so he has a good path to follow. When his career nears the end I see him as a can’t miss talent since he is already measuring 6’3 270 with an attitude.
I see Caeden Weaver Caeden Weaver 6’1″ | 265 lbs | OL CA as a brick house for the interior offensive line. He is thick in all the right places with solid fundamentals. If he gets his hands on your, quit. You can tell who puts in work during the off-season and Caeden get it. Not resting on his God-given size, this kid works hard and it shows on film. It stood out to me that a young player understands how vital it is to keep your hands inside when blocking. He doesn’t assume the position, he fights for leverage and will run you out of your gap responsibility once them meaty glutes are activated. I hope someone challenges him to play center because his name will rocket up the list.
Highlights
Full transparency, a blind man can see that Eli is special and I immediately became a fan after the third snap. His film is full of pancakes, body slams, chokes, running kids to the sideline, then telling you about it–and that’s just on offense. Nope, this is not WWE, but this boy brings the smack down. He is cut from the right cloth to be a standout lineman in the trenches on either side of the ball. 6’4 280 pounds of nastiness. A main reason I love this kid, is he doesn’t just rely on his size. He’s calculated, great hand combat, and keeps his feet alive on contact. Honestly, he should have Power 5 offers already. In the meantime he’s a UA Camp MVP and All-American with a very high ceiling.
Elyjah is a stout 6’1 265 pound offensive guard with good feet and pop. He’s a tank when his number is called to pull and introduce himself to the linebackers. I swear he could stop a rhino in its tracks with his punch power. Elyjah also plays with good leverage and rarely over extends when helping center and tackles double team. I believe he will continue to develop faster on the offensive side of the ball.
This 6’6 226 pound DE/TE prospect has a verbal offer from Arizona already and the rest of the Pac-12 (or whatever is left of it) is noticing him from a far. Marcus is not hard to find with his long athletic muscular build. This the player you want walking off the bus first. His talent bag is deep and full of tools ready to sharpen versus top competition. Marcus is very comfortable in his skin and that leads to him making offensive tackles very uncomfortable when they see him shaded on their outside shoulder. This only lasts for a second because once the ball is snapped he’s already past blockers. His long stride and moves at the line of scrimmage is a killer combination.
