Continue ReadingGrant Washington is a utility running back that does everything well and can turn any carry into six points with electrifying speed and balance. Has great vision to see holes before or as they open and hit the second level in a hurry. At top speed, he’s hard to stop as a downhill runner. His balance is his most impressive attribute as he angles his body towards the open field and can handle contact with poise to keep moving forward. One tackler often isn’t enough to bring him down as his leg strength makes him a player coaches need to watch out for. Has the ideal size for the college level at 6-foot and 195-pounds for both power and speed while he has already shown both. Plays a role in the passing game with soft hands and transitions well from stationary to full speed in open space. Washington has been out at major college combines as well as camps at Penn State and Kentucky. His high level of success on the football field as well as in the classroom has earned him his first Division I offer to Yale. With an expanded role in the fall, Washington is a guy that is set up for a big season ahead and more offers to come.

Masyn Zahurksy made a name for himself as a regular on varsity last season as both an offensive tackle and disruptive defensive end. His long arms and broad frame give him the ability to play both sides of the ball at a high level which has already led him to two MAC offers this offseason. While Kent State and Bowling Green see Zahursky as a Division I talent already from camps, his play last season was a step above the competition all season long. Able to shed blocks by utilizing his long arms to gain extension to perform moves, he gets after quarterbacks with good body control. Shows above average strength in his arms to get moves done quickly and overwhelm offensive linemen. Shows good quickness in open space to close the gap on ball carriers. As an offensive tackle, likes to assert himself as a guy who sends his opponents to the turf. Solid footwork to move up to the second level when blocking. Zahursky is a natural athlete with the pedigree to be a dominating player. His camps this offseason have opened up a door to Power 5 offers if he stays on the same trajectory he has worked for to this point.

Jordan McElroy
Jordan McElroy
A gifted athlete with upside found in his game on both sides of the football, Jordan McElroy gets a lot accomplished with his work ethic. Able to get big results as a cornerback or wide receiver, McElroy is an athlete coaches can rely on when out on the field. When playing on defense, he plays a tight-coverage brand of football relying on his quick-twitch ability to react to a receiver’s movement. Makes natural movements to quickly check on a quarterback while in coverage to create a full picture of coverage on his man. Has quick hands to swipe at balls thrown in his direction with good results to end plays. Uses his hips well to keep his target in front of his man in short yardage situations, goes for the smart play to break up passes instead of gambling on creating turnovers. Is an effective wide receiver with soft hands and plays well against the sidelines. Plays his best on the outside in the first and second level to be a good option for his quarterback to key on. Has had a busy camp season out at Michigan, Ohio State, Bowling Green and Kentucky to name a few stops while gaining fans along the way. McElroy has the work ethic to get everything he can out of his natural athleticism.

E’ mere Atkins boasts an effortless stride for being one of the most explosive players in the state of Ohio for his skill set. Atkins’ ability to have speed anywhere on the field as either a running back or receiver make him a guy that can flip the momentum at any moment. As a running back, he shows patience for the play to develop for him to squeeze the most out of each carry. He hits holes with full acceleration then turns the corner with speed not seen in his class. At top speed, he maintains a long stride to make any opening in the defense the potential for points. Has built up a full body to break right through arm tackles or bounce off contact while maintaining good balance. As a receiver, runs tight routes against the defense with good cuts to create separation. Has strong hands to take in balls in traffic while maintaining stride. Doesn’t try to get fancy when crossing the middle of the field, but always is looking for an opportunity to get more yardage. Without a doubt Atkins will find himself making an impact for a Division I college program with offers from Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan coming this offseason. As he continues to put in the work this summer, Atkins will be a big stock riser with a solid foundation to build off of.

Brian Kortovich Brian Kortovich 6’5″ | 190 lbs | TE Villa Angela Saint Joseph | 2025 State OH is a home run hitter as a receiver that uses all of his height to bring down contested balls. As dangerous of a target in the red zone that you will find in the state, Kortovich uses every inch of his 6-foot-5 frame to make highlight reel catches on a regular basis. Able to line up at tight end or wide receiver, he is always one of the most athletic players on the field. His speed for his height is nearly a cheat code against smaller defenders. Can work up field quickly when catching the ball in stride. Makes hard cuts as a runner that can shake up a defender and make it that much harder to bring him down. His instincts to go up to get the ball at its highest point is unmatched. Can catch balls others in his class struggle to take in or finish off the catch. In short yardage situations, he amps up his game to find small gaps in the zone to give his quarterback a big target to throw at. Recently received his first Division I offer to Eastern Michigan with more expected to roll in as his game gets seen more. Has been getting out to big time programs like Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State in anticipation for a big junior season.
