Daniels will be one of the key pieces for the Golden Eagles on the defensive end and he led the team in tackles, nearly tripling the next closest teammate. He is a player that is very active, using his vision to get in the backfield and make plays, coming up with sacks or tackles for loss. He can make an impact in coverage as well, being tied for the team lead in INTs. If he is able to duplicate last season he will be looking at another All-State selection and will be one of the top LB’s in the state.
Highlights
Aiden Vincent
Aiden Vincent
Vincent is a player looking to make a big jump this season as he will be someone on the line that will need to make an impact. He is someone who can be a run stuffer and clog multiple gaps. At times he is able to get a good push off of the line and uses his strength to his advantage. He takes good pursuit angles and rallies to the football. He will be a player to watch for as he enters his Junior season ready to raise his stock.
Jack Heath
Jack Heath
Heath is a big boy that is physical and is seen constantly finishing his opponent, driving them into the ground and taking them out of the play. He is explosive off of the line and can create running lanes , climbing to the second level at times. In the passing game he is always looking for work, imposing himself and kicking players out of the way. He is an under the radar player to keep an eye on as I think he can be one of the top linemen in his class.
Reese is transferring over to the Golden Eagles from ThunderRidge and is one of the top receivers in the state. The Golden Eagles had one of the more explosive offenses last season and with the addition of Reese, they look to put themselves over the top. He has an insane catch radius and strong hands when fighting for the ball in traffic. He is a big play waiting to happen and has the speed to outrun defenders when he gets his hands on the ball. He is a player with a high ceiling and will be on a lot of radars this season.
Modrzewski is what makes this offense go and he had a great season last year. He has gone into this offseason wanting to make a name for himself and he has been balling. From 7 v 7 tournaments to school camps, he has gotten his name out and has gotten some offers because of it. He has a cannon for an arm and can fit the ball into tight spaces. He excels at intermediate to deep passes and can make throws on the run. Will be a player with high expectations with a lot to prove this season.
