- Ben Radley Ben Radley 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE South Lyon | 2024 State MI – Ben has tremendous upside with a big frame and good agility at his size. He’s got really good hands and seems to have a lot of routes he can run to perfection. I love watching him take a short pass down the sideline running over everyone in his path. I hope to catch him in action this season, as he is a fun offensive weapon to watch on film.
- Drew Kelbert Drew Kelbert 6'3" | 225 lbs | TE Livonia Franklin | 2024 State MI – This guy just screams college TE to me. He’s got the athleticism to make contested catches, and runs solid routes, and his blocking is improving. I think if he continues to work on his craft, he could be a solid TE prospect at the D2 level. He will need to continue to work in the blocking scheme, but I think he has the football IQ to pick up quickly, and he’s only getting better physically.
Moving onto the Juniors, there were some good ones to choose from. I went with a couple guys that don’t quite have the tape yet, but have the size and some other factors to be really good in the near future.
- Grant Williams Grant Williams 6'3" | 210 lbs | TE Cadillac | 2025 State MI – Grant is a guy that looks to move really well, and with his size, he could be a real problem for opposing defenses, and create some mismatches. I’m high on him due to the fact that he has the makings to be great, he just hasn’t shown a ton on tape yet. This year is a good prove it year for him, and it seems like Cadillac has been developing a ton of good prospects recently, and I trust that he is another project just waiting to vault onto the scene.
- Ethan Pollard Ethan Pollard 6'5" | 210 lbs | TE Berkley | 2025 MI – While not having a ton on tape yet, what he does show is a big body that loves some contact. He’s an aggressive blocker, that can lay some hits. He does have a couple catches in traffic, and looks like he goes up strong for it. The reason I am so high on him is he looks to be growing still, and is still learning and being molded. I could see him becoming a good D3 prospect in a couple years if his development stays on track.
Last, we’ll check on a couple 2026 TEs that are on the rise. I’m high on them for a number of reasons, but I think these guys could start to make a name for themselves this season, that starts to carry some weight at the next level.
- Maximus Jansenvanvuren Maximus Jansenvanvuren 6'5" | 230 lbs | ATH Waterford Mott | 2026 State MI – Already standing at 6’5 and over 220, this guy has a great head start to becoming one of the next great TEs. He’s catching passes from one of the best QBs in the state, and he’s got the physical tools to be a force, as long as he keeps working on his craft and puts in the work.
- Tristan Comer Tristan Comer 6'7" | 220 lbs | TE Freeland | 2026 State MI – Another youngster with tremendous size, Tristan has gained a ton of notoriety as one of the best dual sport kids you’ll find. A fantastic basketball player too, he has great athleticism and elite body control. If he keeps packing on some muscle, and keeps working on his blocking, he;s going to be an absolute mismatch for defenses.
