McClary makes the most drastic jump in the rankings due to his uncanny athleticism and his versatility. It had been brought to my attention that I may be too low on McClary, which required me to go back and watch the tape.

There were a couple o things that I notice and had me re-evaluate. First off, you could make a solid case that McClary is the best athlete regardless of position in this class. The way he can go from zero to 100 in terms of acceleration with the ball in his hands. Then his ability to read and react and be explosive when playing downhill as a linebacker is also second to none in this class. ‘

However, one can't overlook the positional value and how much that matters when fielding prospects. In today's landscape of football, linebackers do have as much value as they once had twenty years ago. Therefore with all his athleticism, size, etc how much value does a top linebacker bring in the overall landscape of things? Versus a top, edge, wide, quarterback, or an interior defensive lineman?

Looking long-term, and as I've mentioned before about McClary. He would be much better served to turn himself into a do it all defensive back like a player similar to Chargers Saftey Derwin James. He has that same type of athleticism, the same size, and the effortless ability to change direction.

We don't know what he can do as a coverage player, but he has the frame, physique, movement ability, and instincts to be solid. At the moment, coverage is king across the landscape of football, and on defense, if you can quickly disrupt the quarterback or affect the passing game you become valuable.

As a result, McClary goes from number 18 to a top 5 player in the class.

Dorsey made it on my radar because he's been earning Power 5 scholarships without any significant Varsity snaps. The rationale is understandable you can't find many corners that stand 6'2 175 pounds that still growing.

As far as what the tape says. He plays outside corner and he has solid and patient feet. Dorsey has solid turn- and run ability and can get his head around while the ball is in the air. He has good length which he uses to play the ball well, also good instincts, and seems to consistently be around the football.

As previously mentioned, Dorsey has earned a plethora of Power 5 scholarships from schools like Wisconsin, Penn State, Pitt, Maryland, and Boston College. He hasn't played meaningful varsity snaps, but with this much Power 5 buzz e have to take notice.

He goes from not in the rankings at all to being on the watch list but with a strong start to the season, he could be a top-ten player in this class.

This class is littered with tall long athletes and Cordoba is a game-changer on both sides of the ball. Listed at 6'2 185 pounds Cordoba has the size, speed, and instincts that set him apart in this class.

He is especially good at defensive back and he can play safety and slot corner. In addition, has great speed and length that helps him fly across the field, making him a ball hawk and a playmaker. Lastly, he's a physical player he is not afraid to stick his nose in the run game fight through blocks, and make tackles.

Cordoba goes from unranked to the 21st-best player in this class. He currently has five offers from Kent State, Umass, LIU, Sacred Heart, and Akron. In addition, has heavy interest from Syracuse, Cordoba's name will be one to watch as the season begins.

Elijah is a hot new lineman name that has burst onto the scene. He's 6'8 285 pounds and primarily plays left tackle. Right now he is the most malleable project in his class, he has good athleticism as he's a dual-sport athlete also playing basketball.

However, as far as his football game goes his technique is a mess right now, especially as a pass blocker. He does have some promise as a run blocker because he gets off the ball well and he can block on the run.

Elijah isnt as polished as some of his other counterparts, but his offer list is impressive holding offers from schools like Penn State, Miami, and Texas A&M. Schools are taking interest and will buying into his long-term prospects. Elijah goes from not being in the rankings t the 25th-best prospect in the class.

Forest made a significant leap in the rankings climbing 20+ spots. He is a very underrated player whose name you could soon start to hear quickly rise.

He is an explosive athlete who has a nose for the football and the endzone. When the ball is in his hands whether he a punt return or a wide receiver he has solid agility and elusiveness to make force-miss tackles. In addition, has great body control and catch radius to make acrobatic catches.

On the defensive side of the ball, he plays the deep safety position. He's patient reads the ball well and seems to be in the right place at the right time consistently.

Forest will take a big leap as a player this year and get on many national radars
