Like most college camps, the University of Northern Colorado’s camp proved to be an excellent way for student-athletes of all levels to showcase their talents in front of coaches. With it being a mega camp, multiple coaches from various schools in attendance had the opportunity to evaluate potential recruits. As a result, mega camps can draw in large crowds on their own, but UNC’s new emphasis on prioritizing in-state recruits greatly added to the camp’s appeal.
UNC extended a handful of offers to Colorado athletes from the 2024 class following a weekend of prospect events, reinforcing their commitment to prioritize landing in-state recruits.
Contrary to the perception of social media, the players from the class of 2026 and 2027 still have adequate time in the recruiting process. Even though they have more time, attending camps early and starting the journey now is a wise approach to the process for young players with college aspirations.
This article will end the Twitter spotlight by listing seven players for the 2026 and 2027 classes and their Twitter posts from the weekend at UNC.
