<p>As the class of 2023 prepares to go on and continue their football careers at the next level, we turn our attention to New Jersey's recruiting class of 2024 graduates. Since our last <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/06/new-jersey-recruiting-june-update/">recruiting update</a> earlier this month, there have been several other noteworthy college prospects from the Garden State that have announced their commitment status. Lead defensive back Chavis will be heading to Philly to play for Temple University. The Owls beat out several prestigious academic institutions, notably Air Force, Boston College, Fordham, Lehigh, UMass, and UPenn. Perhaps this had to do with his decision to defect and head up north?
