Whether these individuals possess tremendous dual-threat skills, know how to rip the pigskin in the pocket, or maybe even a little of both, it is time to turn our focus to the next class of field generals who will be dominating the gridiron a couple months from now.
This one is a no-brainer! Simply put, Vodicka is already in the process of turning heads and raising eyebrows. Last fall, Vodicka tormented and picked apart opposing defenses en route to 13 passing touchdowns and only one interception in eleven games under center. Even more remarkably, Vodicka completed 72% of his passes and capped off his great statistical season with a state championship. Fast forward to 2023, and the now state title defending champ will once again have a vast array offensive weapons at his disposal. Be on the lookout for a strong statistical campaign for the Bruins quarterback.

Finishing out the 2022 season-long campaign with six games as a starter under his belt, there is no doubt that Young wears his heart on his sleeve. In his very first season of high school football, Young’s stats don’t necessarily jump out at you, but his arm talent and general feel in the pocket certainly do. Heading into his second sophomore season, don’t be surprised if Young quickly establishes himself as one of the top quarterbacks in all of the Centennial State.
Few can deny this young man’s talent, as the athletic Chaparral quarterback in Tevin Stokes Tevin Stokes 5’11” | 165 lbs | QB Chaparral | 2026 CO will be entering the 2023 season with a great chance at a big-time breakout season. With more moves than a jitterbug when he evades defenders to extend plays in the pocket, expect Stoke’s hard work during this offseason to pay off with much-improved throwing accuracy. Already tasked with a strong-arm, Stokes should only improve upon a 48% completion percentage with his refined throwing mechanics. In other words, opposing defenses could be faced with danger when they buckle the chinstraps against Stokes and the Wolverines this fall.

Another promising prospect with a rocket for an arm, Mr. Radi’s opportunity to show the rest of the state of Colorado what he can do should be right around the corner. After limited playing time as a freshman, Radi will be an greater contributor a year later with an increase of playing time. Already tasked with good size for a Class of 2026 quarterback prospect, the Chatfield product possesses good footwork and can make any throw on the field due to his natural over the top throwing motion. Simply put, Radi could be the type of player that catapults himself to the top of recruiting boards by the end of the fall.

Next, it is time to get to know Vista Ridge quarterback and standout Jacob Bourland Jacob Bourland 5’10” | 155 lbs | QB Vista Ridge | 2026 CO . With an electric type playing style, Bourland soon showcased why the future is so bright as he put together an impressive campaign at the JV level en route to leading his squad to an 8-1 overall record and a league championship to boot. Furthermore, it was the soon-to-be-sophomore stud that was a legitimate problem through the air and on the ground. In the season finale, Bourland proved this to be true with 417 total yards and a combined five touchdowns. With more expected playing time at the varsity level in 2023, Bourland will be an exciting name to keep tabs on.
