Continue ReadingWanieq Scott Wanieq Scott 6’1″ | 165 lbs | WR William Penn York | 2025 State PA is expected to jump from Watchlist to ranked after this coming update in July. That might actually surprise some, including Scott himself, considering the young man doesn’t have tape from last Fall. Obviously, he still doesn’t have tape to his name outside of his freshman year. Still, I’ve heard rumors and rumbles of this young man’s potential, as well as how far he’s come this offseason. Dylan Callaghan Croley said good things about him recently, after seeing him at the York Mega Practice. The young man has an ideal frame, carrying a 6’2, 165-pound frame as just a sophomore. Scott also boasts a self-listed 4.5 40 under his belt. At this point, since he’s becoming an upperclassman, we will more than likely begin to reflect his potential via ranking.
Highlights
Chambersburg Area left and right tackle prospect Dominick Curtis Dominick Curtis 6’1″ | 270 lbs | OL Chambersburg Area | 2025 State PA should make our ranks after attending camps and working under our eyes, while also taking another peak at his sophomore tape. Left tackle, right tackle, as well as IDL, Curtis is a thick, beefy lineman with plenty of power to exude onto opponents. He might not fit the ideal build for your stereotypical collegiate tackle prospect, yet on numerous occasions, Curtis got the job done, especially in run-blocking sets. Would love to see him work at either guard position, yet fully understand if tackle is a dire need for the Chambersburg program.
Henryxs Barbisch Henryxs Barbisch 6’4″ | 230 lbs | TE Bishop Canevin | 2025 PA did not have his sophomore season tape on Hudl prior to the time we ranked 2025s in Pennsylvania. Another update went by with Barbisch, someone who I’ve wanted to place on our ranks since his Freshman year, ultimately landing on WL again. A couple days after our 2025 update, Barbisch blessed us with his 2022 Fall tape, a tape that is going to thrust him into the top 100 on our ranks, that’s being modest, too. The TE/DE prospect showed off his prowess on both sides of the ball, working as an impact blocker in-line with the tackle, or at EDGE/OLB where he could set the edge in run support or chase after quarterbacks. The build should draw in eyeballs, especially in camp settings. His tape should see the deal, at least in terms of adding the young man to collegiate boards of interest across the North East. Miami of Ohio and Marshall have already extended offers to the young man out of Bishop Canevin. I’m fond of many out of that program.

Four-sport athlete with a 4.2 GPA. That sentence alone will have college coaches perking up their ears. Jackson Custer Jackson Custer 6’0″ | 175 lbs | QB Cedar Crest | 2025 State PA ‘s got five starting games at quarterback under his belt, all for Cedar Crest HS. The young man eclipsed 1,000 yards, 3/1 ratio of passing to rushing yards, while also scoring 12 times. 6’0, 180, his build might not scream college football, yet the young man put together quite the tape for an underclassman. Works primarily out of shotgun/spread sets. Tape conveys he’s capable of delivering balls in the pocket or on the go. Needs to work on his mechanics and release to ensure he’s not building on any bad habits, but can be said for any quarterback in the country really. Hitch to his game, yet he’s often on time when targeting timing routes (outs/corners). This kid is going to keep defenses honest with his feet too. Excited to get him on our lists.

Lacrosse prospect, might be his first love, I’m not close enough to know. Yet Conestoga Valley football has a potential stud at EDGE. One of the fastest get-offs that I’ve uncovered this year, that includes some special young talent out of Virginia and New England too. Awesome closing speed to the QB or BC after initial penetration. High motor, effort player who is seen making yard-saving tackles a ways from his starting position. Justin Corson Justin Corson 6’3″ | 220 lbs | DL Conestoga Valley | 2025 State PA is a big kid who can certainly win with speed. Corson does a great job getting into the second phase of his shed technique, he’s often moving his hands and winning the second half of the engagement, leading to many TFLs, pressures, all of the above. 6’3 and some change, 205, this is a kid I’m going to share with FCS and D2 schools immediately after writing.

Good on Long Island for pulling the trigger early on this stud out of Lincoln HS. The sophomore, now with an offer under his belt, will have Public League programs game-planning to stop his multi-faceted skillset. Primarily a wideout yet can serve as a DB if needed, Ziyyon Bredell Ziyyon Bredell 5’11” | 170 lbs | ATH Lincoln | 2025 State PA boasts advanced traits you normally wouldn’t find in underclassmen. The young man understands leverage use, he eats up cushion in a hurry and with a purpose. There’s nuance to his route-running, a clear sign that he’s being coached not only the right way but for the next level. I hear he’s a blazer on the track, self-reporting a 10.6 100M time, which is equal to many of the elite talents across the state. He’s going to fly up our ranks, excited to show. More excited to see him work on Friday afternoons in the PPL.
Cedar Crest gets a second mention in this piece, I’m clearly sleeping on some talent out of the program. Not for long. Next up we have Zion Rolon Zion Rolon 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Cedar Crest | 2025 State PA , a 6’1, 220-pound All-Section backer with a three-minute tape to back up his game. Sophomore highlights show the CC coaching staff trusts him to blitz gaps. Great instincts in the open field, something every collegiate LB is going to have to possess. Rolon is a young man who wants his presence to be felt in the middle of the defense. The way he finishes tackles announces that notion to the ones turning on his tape. He sees it and runs, whether that be him recognizing a screen, or a hole a back is about to hit, or if the QB is keeping the rock and attempting to run, the kid sees it and reacts. I have no problem shouting his name to coaches this time next year.
