Max Hendrix
Max Hendrix
Max Hendrix has prototypical size for a quarterback prospect. I am surprised we have not seen the Sparks product receive more regional attention. Look for Max’s recruitment to heat up this fall.
Max’s quality decision-making shows scanning the field on rollout action despite pressure in his face. Good anticipation shows throwing well-timed crossers underneath and post routes in between zone coverage. Max’s touch shows leading receivers deep, while flashes of accuracy shows leading receivers vertically passed quarters coverage.
Aiden Krause Aiden Krause 6’4″ | 190 lbs | QB Coronado | 2025 State NV led Coronado High School on a fantastic playoff run as a sophomore. Aiden has visited UNLV and been invited to a football camp by Yale University. Be on the lookout for Aiden to be a fast riser on coaches’ lists this fall.
Aiden’s toughness and accuracy shows delivering well-placed deep balls in the face of pressure. Mobility and good arm strength gets displayed when Aiden is forced to escape pressure and throw off-balance balls out of the pocket. Coaches like Aiden’s combination of next level size and athleticism that shows as a ball carrier in the open field.
Elijah Espinoza Elijah Espinoza 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Liberty | 2025 State NV had some dominant performances for Las Vegas High School in 2022. According to his Hudl account, Elijah is currently attending Liberty High School. Regardless of where he is enrolled, watch out for the good-sized QB’s recruitment to heat up during his junior year.
Elijah’s anticipation shows leading receivers on post routes and timing his lofts perfectly into the back corner of the endzone. Coaches like Elijah’s displays of mobility, but good poise and decision-making shows keeping his eyes downfield even after he gets knocked off of his spot.
Don’t count on Melvin Spicer IV Melvin Spicer IV 5’10” | 165 lbs | QB Bishop Gorman | 2025 State NV to be a prospect that gets lost in Bishop Gorman’s quarterback shuffle. Melvin holds offers from Portland State and Hawaii. No matter how Bishop Gorman’s quarterback competition plays out, expect Melvin to receive more regional attention before his junior year has finished.
Melvin’s next level arm strength shows completing deep outs to the opposite side of the field. Good anticipation shows throwing well-timed slants and over routes across the middle. Flashes of next level accuracy show using touch to lead receivers deep or increasing velocity to squeeze his fastball in between zones near the sideline.
Garyt Odom Garyt Odom 6’0″ | 165 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2025 AR is sure to receive more national attention after his first season in the desert. I counted nine FBS offers on Garyt’s Twitter account. Look for the talented passer to receive more west coast offers before 2023 has finished.
Next level arm strength shows delivering throws on the run and needling the ball in between tight zone coverage windows. Garyt’s good athleticism is highlighted by quick feet in the pocket and mobility as a runner; Dual-threat potential shows in Garyt’s natural rushing ability and good extend ability with his eyes on the run.
