He's a twitched-up perimeter threat with the speed and quickness to create separation on vertical routes and make plays after the catch. He brings high effort and physicality as a blocker and shows great body control adjusting in air. Still a bit raw in his overall skillset but the length (6'/180) and athleticism he possesses offer promising potential as he moves to the next level. The 5'10"/170 senior caught 19 passes for 300 yards and 2 TDs this fall. He's a smooth, fluid receiver out of the slot that can navigate the middle of the field and showed his explosiveness with the ball in his hands on screens and in the return game. He shows strong hands in traffic, tracks the ball well, and flashed instincts finding soft spots against zone coverage. The 6'/195 running back and linebacker rushed for 620 yards and 7 TDs on offense and tallied 40 tackles, 7 TFLs, and 3 sacks on defense. He's a physical athlete on both sides of the ball that's a tough, hard-nose runner with the ball in his hands and a hard-hitting, downhill tackler that can play around the box or as a two-deep SS. Johnson likely hits his highest ceiling as a hybrid LB/SS at the next level with the physicality and athleticism he brings to the defense. What the 5'8"/145 safety lacks in size he more than makes up for with speed, toughness, and pure effort. He's an active tackler that constantly seeks out ball-carriers with his closing speed and nose for the football. He's quick to diagnose and react, shows no hesitation working downhill, and looks comfortable playing in space. The 6'2"/200 defender totaled 110 tackles and forced 4 fumbles this fall. He's an athletic tackler from his ILB spot that could make the move to an OLB/SS role at the next level given his frame and athleticism depending on how he continues to fill out and develop. He shows good lateral range getting sideline to sideline and is an effective coverage defender.
