We have seven more Wisconsin athletes that have shown they have college level talent, and need to be on the radars of the next level going forward. We start with a 2025 QB who has lots of potential and talent from Brown Deer HS.
Grayson is a fun and exciting prospect to watch on tape. He has the exact size you look for in a pocket passer at 6’4″ 190 lbs. With that size comes a strong, next level arm. Grayson can threaten a defense at all three levels with his ability to hit closing windows before DBs can get in the passing lane. The signal caller has a prototypical throwing motion, and the ball jumps out of his hand. Looking at his accuracy, McCain does a god job of placing the ball where his man can get it without risking an INT or PBU. The highlights also show that Grayson can turn down the heat when he needs to and use touch over power to drop the ball in a bucket. Grayson is raw, but we could see a big jump this fall, and he should turn heads with his arm at camps.

The 6’1″ 240 lbs 2024 is ranked as a DL, but I won’t be surprised to see him recruited on either side of the ball. His highlights show a difference maker on either side of the ball. On defense, Oscar has adequate strength to be able to set the edge. He can hold the line or take on pulling linemen and prevent the kick out. Blohm also possesses a solid first step and transitions that burst into power. Oscar also has developed some pass rush moves including a swim move. On offense, Oscar is an adequate run blocker. His strong base and leverage allows him to get under and dig out DLs. I project Oscar to the D3 level right now. A strong camp circuit and senior season can push him higher.

The 6’3″ 210 lbs ’24 is an interesting prospect. He has a well put together, strong frame, and with it comes impactful athleticism. With that size, strength, and athleticism Mason could be looked at for several different positions. Currently, Mason plays QB for Kenosha Tremper and his size/strength/speed have made him a legitimate threat on the ground. Both in the open field, and in traffic. As a passer, Mason can place the ball accurately from the pocket and on the run. We could see big numbers from the soon to be senior this fall. I’ll be looking forward to how he performs this summer as well.

One of my favorite highlight reels to watch is that of the 2025 DE out of Muskego. Nicholas currently sits at 6’3″ 235 lbs. That is 10 lbs heavier than he played in 2022. The long DE is one of the most technically sound defensive linemen I have seen; especially for his age. He has a variety of pass rush moves and his hand usage overall is top of the line. His hands are both quick and strong allowing him to make first contact, and keep himself clean. Athletically, McCullough has solid first step explosiveness off the ball. He also has a strong football IQ. He understands how the OL is blocking him, counters it, and is able to then quickly find the ball. Nicholas is on a great trajectory of technique and talent. Big things ahead for him.

The 5’10” 205 lbs LB out of Sturgeon Bay is currently recovering from foot surgery following at injury he sustained at a camp this spring. He will be ready to roll by the time the season rolls around. I expect to see the tackling machine return to his high level of production this fall. While he is undersized, I believe Mason is a next level prospect. Primarily for the D3 level at this point. On tape, Sacotte has a natural knack for being able to fly around the box without interference from the OL. His ability to find the ball and attack downhill quickly makes it hard for the OL to get up to him to make blocks. Even when he does have to take on blocks, Mason has shown he has the power to stack up a FB in the hole, shed him, and make the tackle. Keep an eye on him this fall.

The Class of 2025 is led by an impressive group of offensive linemen. One such athlete is the 6’3″2 40 lbs RT out of Sussex Hamilton. The sophomore started 10 games on varsity in 2022, and should finish his career as a three year starter. The sophomore highlights show that the building blocks are there for Orlando to mold himself into a college level player. Humphrey is best in the run game. There he is able to show off his quickness out of his stance and overall range. Orlando can crash down interior DL, get up to the second level and seal off LBs, and get even further downfield and get his hands on DBs. This fall I’ll be looking to see how his strength has improved from 2022. If that can make a jump so will his impact and overall talent.
Highlights
The 6′ 175 lbs sophomore was peppered with targets in 2022. Dakotah made plays at every level of the field last fall. He has the speed to threaten a defense deep. However, I believe his agility and quickness are more his strength. They shine in his routes as he makes sharp breaks, and bursts out of them. Montez also does a really good job of tracking the ball downfield and adjusting to it. His concentration to bring in the difficult or in traffic catches repeatedly show up on tape also. I’m excited to see the tape and production this fall.
