This article will briefly outline five of the best offensive weapons in the league. Ranging from well-known seniors, rising stars, and a hidden gem, I’m confident you’ll find something new here!
RB | Nakai Amachree Nakai Amachree 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Haslett | 2024 State MI | Haslett | Hudl
Nakai is a sure-fire D1 prospect and is likely the best PR/KR in Michigan. His skill in the open field is sensational, and it does him well in all offensive and special teams scenarios. He’s built extremely well, athletic, great vision, and more. Nakai is one of the top players I’d love to see in person this season, and if you don’t know him by now, you should watch his film!
RB | Kory Amachree Kory Amachree 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Haslett | 2026 State MI | Haslett | Hudl
This is more of a speculative pick, but the name makes me excited. Kory’s highlights and hudl page in general show a skilled runner and dedicated athlete that keeps up with his stuff. According to his hudl, Kory runs a 4.5 40-yard dash with 4.03 shuttle and can bench 225 13 times as a freshman. Kory may not blow up this season, but 2024 could be HUGE for him. Oh, and he has a 4.0 GPA!
RB | AJ Martel AJ Martel 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB Mason | 2024 State MI | Mason | Hudl
AJ is one of my guys, for sure. Strong as heck, tough, and high-volume runner. I’ll pound the table and say AJ is a DII prospect, at the very least. A starter since his freshman season, 7 career YPC, 3000+ yards, etc. I think that AJ could run wild this season and potentially lead Mason to Ford Field.
QB | Cason Carswell Cason Carswell 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Mason | 2025 State MI | Mason | Hudl
Cason has been impressive this off-season. The tall QB has impressed me with his overall accuracy and ability to quickly read the defense. Cason is coming off an impressive offseason as well as a great basketball season. I think it’s very likely that Cason will improve on his 2403 yd and 34 TD season he had last year! I also really hope he starts receiving college attention soon.
OL/DL | Luke Chambers | Williamston | Hudl
Luke Chambers is an underrated MAULER! I actually really like Chambers’s tape, as he’s powerful, surprisingly agile, and aggressive. As a two-way lineman, Luke is an extremely important asset in the trenches on a team looking to reload. Luke has some great plays on his film, and I highly recommend you give it a watch! At first glance, NAIA seems like a good fit for luke.
