The state of Arizona features some of the top talent in the country, with multiple high schools ranked nationally. Referenced below are the top offensive performers from this past weekend at the PRZ Prospect Tour event in Mesa. Have a look...

(MVP) [player_tooltip player_id='739443' first='Marcel' last='Jones'] 6-0 195 QB 26' Chaparral OFFERS: Ariz St, UNLV

One of the top young QB's in the West, already holding multiple D1 OFFERS. Jones has ability beyond his years and will be the leader of a special 2026 class. Chaparral will have the potential of being a nationally ranked program in the coming seasons, with Jones putting up ridiculous numbers at the JV Level (40 TDs- 28 passing, 12 rushing) while hitting on 84% of his passes.

(MVP) [player_tooltip player_id='401176' first='Tristan' last='Armstrong'] 6-2 175 WR 26' Chaparral OFFERS: UNLV

Much like Jones, Armstrong is just better than most of his peers. He was impressive over the weekend catching everything thrown his way. He is relatively long and will be extremely tough to guard, opposite 2025 standout [player_tooltip player_id='368947' first='Gavin' last='Mesa'].

(MVP) [player_tooltip player_id='169439' first='Layton' last='Firestone'] 6-7 315 T 24' Hamilton

The big man isn't just big. He can move and will be a multi offer D1 kid before he's done. Firestone moved well side to side and could potentially blow up if he puts together some good film to start the season.

(MVP) Bryce Black 5-7 168 RB 24' Casteel

Really like this kid. He's crafty and can beat you on the ground or catching the ball. Black was solid all day and should play a key role for a Casteel team who went 9-4 last season. He will be considered one of the most versatile athletes in the conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='368947' first='Gavin' last='Mesa'] 6-4 195 WR 25' Chaparral

One of the best receivers in Arizona. Mesa has legit size and can body smaller DB's, while using his overall athleticism. He had an MVP type day, winning almost every rep. His 46 catches for 706 yards and 6 TDs last year are only a glimpse of what he will do in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='368980' first='Elias' last='Johnson'] 6-0 190 RB 25' Saguaro

As a sophomore Johnson put up some of the best numbers in Arizona, accounting for 1684 yards and 18 TDs. The region's Offensive POY showed up an did his thing on Saturday but went somewhat under the radar in my opinion. Expect him to be one of the most talked about players in AZ over the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='115493' first='Javery' last='Mayberry'] 6-4 230 TE 24' Basha OFFERS: Connecticut, Marshall, N.Arizona

The 3* TE ran outstanding routes and is a physical presence on the field. He currently holds 3 D1 offers and showed why he will be one of the most recruited tight ends in the region.

[player_tooltip player_id='834645' first='Jake' last='Hildebrand'] 6-6 280 T 27' Basha OFFERS: Arizona St

The reason Arizona St offered early is very apparent. It's extremely rare to have a kid with his size be so agile. He did well against older competition and with continued progression could be one of the top line recruits anywhere.

[player_tooltip player_id='834531' first='Devin' last='White'] 6-1 175 WR 24' Lee Williams

White played as well as anyone. Much like Mesa, he was dominant versus the DBs. The talented kid out of Kingman broke school records for TDs and INTs, finishing with 42 catches for 931 yards and 7 touchdowns. He will be a AZ POY candidate at the 4A level.

[player_tooltip player_id='217563' first='Justice' last='Spann'] 6-3 195 WR 24' Chandler

Another kid who uses his size and overall athleticism well. Spann is a physical athlete who can run. He has the potential of having a monster year for Chandler, averaging 13 yards per catch with double digit TDs over the last two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='401168' first='Kamden' last='Segall'] 6-3 185 WR 26' Saguaro

Big things lie ahead for this talented young wide out. Segall did not look like a freshman, taking it to multiple upperclassmen. Expect new head coach Zak Hill to have a field day with receivers like Kamden on the roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='390447' first='Morgan' last='Quiri'] 6-4 170 WR 25' Salpointe Catholic

I would consider Quiri one of the day's most underrated. The 6-4 wide out had an outstanding afternoon and probably didn't get enough credit. He literally caught everything thrown his way and could be one of the state leaders among WR's per his classification the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='834537' first='Hayden' last='Fletcher'] 6-1 175 QB 25' Liberty

Super impressed with Fletcher. He threw a great ball and carry's himself like someone who will lead one of the state's top programs. He's currently waiting his turn at the QB spot but will be a dude when his time comes.

[player_tooltip player_id='412344' first='Jaeden' last='Smith'] 5-7 160 WR 25' Williams Field

Smith is undersized but elusive as all get out. Most couldn't stay with him coming out of his breaks. He was definitely one of the day's breakout performers.

[player_tooltip player_id='630999' first='Bosten' last='Renneman'] 5-10 175 RB 26' Eastmark

You will hear a lot about this kid in the years ahead. He went for 1300 yards and 19 TDs splitting time between Varsity & JV. He runs with speed and power and was very much in the MVP conversation.

[player_tooltip player_id='834535' first='Evan' last='Tarasenko'] 6-0 190 QB 24' Northwest Christian

Tarasenko was one of the most impressive QBs at the event. He did well at Maui HS a season ago, making the move to Northwest Christian high school in AZ. He is receiving offers from the likes of Arizona Christian.

[player_tooltip player_id='834521' first='Antrell' last='Harris'] 5-10 155 WR 24' Westwood

I was impressed with Harris. He didn't put up big numbers last year but ran great routes all afternoon from his slot position. I would expect him to be breakout player within his conference.
