Take a look at the MVPs from PrepRedzone NY/NJ High School Camp
There were several good quarterbacks on the day, none were able to spin it like Stahl. A unanimous decision for MVP by multiple coaches who worked with QBs and WRs Stahl was on point throughout the day. Really good velocity on his balls, worked in good rhythm in 1v1s and had really solid ball placement throughout the day. A really solid performance for Stahl who is a name to watch this fall in New York.
Izaiah Hill
Izaiah Hill
One of the youngest to make the list, Izaiah Hill was a standout in a really solid running back group. A twitchy athlete who was really solid in 1v1s at creating seperation and was able to do so on shorter routes and deeper routes. Running backs are always tough to evaluate without pads but Hill showed he was a top athlete at camp and performed really well in the 1v1 situations he was put in.
The WR group was probably the strongest of any but Jeremiah Tirado was able to fend off a couple other top performers for the MVP spot. Athletically he was a level above most guys and he made some of the most difficult contested catches. Tirado was smooth as a route runner and showcased he could win breaking in, breaking out, short, or deep. He plays both sides of the ball in the fall but at PRZ camp there was not a better performer than Tirado at skill positions.
Highlights
Carlos Malespin Carlos Malespin 6’1″ | 285 lbs | OL Iona Prep | 2026 State NY was dominant in 1v1s. Padless 1v1s always put OL at a disadvantage but you would think after watching his reps that wouldn’t be true. Malespin won about 90% of his reps clearly and showcased an elite anchor and lower body strength. Malespin was very precise with his hands and moves really well keeping his body in good winning positions.
Highlights
Gabriel George looked like a man amongst boys at camp and could be the biggest winner of anyone there. George dominated the OL group and was the only DL to really give Malespin any trouble. George is a very top level athlete and it is only a matter of time until colleges line up for him. George has the highest ceiling of anyone at camp and displayed that with elite power, good refinement in his pass rush moves and hand usage, and elite quickness.
Highlights
Malachi Ottey
Malachi Ottey
Malachi Ottey was a really solid performer at LB and showcased some really good coverage skills and movement for a guy who is 220+ lbs. Ottey did a good job of locating the football and reading routes in front of him. There was a ton of vertical routes being run on linebackers and Ottey held his own showcasing really solid ability turn his hips and remain fluid in his movement and explosiveness.
There is always one kids who wows you in testing drills and that was Alexis Martinez Alexis Martinez 5’8″ | 160 lbs | ATH Paramus Catholic | 2025 NJ . Martinez who now plays for Montclair Immaculate Conception ran multiple 4.4 40 yard dashes. Outside of that straight line speed, Martinez was really good in coverage as a DB where his mirroring ability was strong and ball skills were some of the best at camp. He showcase one of the better abilities to close and impact the catch point and overall was the top DB at camp.
