The big passing tournament in Orange County took place Saturday at Dana Hills High.

12 teams gathered to compete on the coast and Pacifica of Oxnard took home the championship.

Here is a look at the winning team and the rest of the standout players from the event:

PACIFICA OF OXNARD

Pacifica of Oxnard beat Tesoro and Crean Lutheran early in the day and carried that momentum to a championship.

The Tritons return junior quarterback Dominic Duran who split time last season with prospect [player_tooltip player_id='282712' first='Tagg' last='Harrison'], who has since transferred to Westlake. Duran threw for 1215 yards with 14 touchdowns as a sophomore last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='273596' first='Josh' last='Joyner'] is a star at running back for the Tritons. He has a top five of Arizona, Boston College, Colorado State, San Diego State and Washington State. Junior receiver [player_tooltip player_id='282760' first='Savion' last='Taylor'] returns after having 810 yards receiving with seven touchdowns last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='273654' first='Dayton' last='Aupiu'] is the top defensive back for Pacifica with a top five of Cal, Penn State, San Diego State, Arizona and Utah.

A big contributor for Pacifica was [player_tooltip player_id='723755' first='Isaiah' last='Dillon'], a junior transfer from local foe Oxnard who had eight touchdowns as a sophomore last season. Slot guy Philip Kim also played well for the Tritons.

Pacifica head coach Michael Moon said that he really enjoyed the format of the tournament and thought the competition was good. They competed in the Millikan tournament last season, but chose this tournament this season instead.

https://twitter.com/TritonsFootball/status/1660061802867363841?s=20

OTHER STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Capo Valley reportedly played well and had a really competitive game against San Clemente. Tight end/receiver [player_tooltip player_id='595817' first='Ryan' last='Isenhart'] had three touchdown receptions. [player_tooltip player_id='595827' first='Tommy' last='Acosta'] played well according to reports at quarterback and Addison Walker got some run at QB as well. Cash Moorman is a running back who can make plays in the passing game and Brayden Saavedra is a sleeper at receiver.

https://twitter.com/capofootball/status/1660715457274593280?s=20

I heard from multiple people that they were impressed by Tesoro quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='482560' first='Cash' last='O'Byrne']. O'Byrne played the second half of the season for Tesoro last season and had a big game against Capo Valley. Todd Nelson will be the top receiver for Tesoro this year and Dalton Hurd is the top skill player on defense.

https://twitter.com/CashOByrne1/status/1657929037338279936?s=20

Laguna Beach didn't get a lot of wins in the early rounds but [player_tooltip player_id='398386' first='Ryner' last='Swanson'] was reportedly a matchup nightmare for multiple teams.

Corona del Mar reached the championship game and was competitive against Pacifica. [player_tooltip player_id='929542' first='Kaleb' last='Annett'] is one of the top senior quarterbacks in Orange County for the Sea Kings. Russell Weir is expected to be Annett's top target and [player_tooltip player_id='708357' first='Colin' last='Pene'] can make plays out of the backfield. [player_tooltip player_id='347158' first='Zach' last='Giuliano'] is a big tight end with major offers.

The host team Dana Hills features a pair of very talented receivers in [player_tooltip player_id='1128317' first='Noah' last='Kucera'] and Chase Berry. Deacon Hill is a quality defensive player and they have a lot of experience in the secondary.

The big passing tournament in Orange County took place Saturday at Dana Hills High.
