Mission Viejo High was the place to be for scouts and media last weekend and the players delivered with great performances.
Here were the receivers and tight ends who had standout performances at the camp Sunday:
MVPs
Jordan was one of the MVPs and was drawing a lot of attention from the scouts throughout the day.
He has the speed to separate at the top of the route and good body control. He made some catches near the sidelines that were very impressive.
Jordan was one of the top receivers in the Southern Section last season at Cathedral and will play at Sierra Canyon in the fall.
Highlights
Powell is a really sharp route runner who made defensive backs lose their footing multiple times on Sunday.
He has very good speed and can turn on a dime. He had a very good connection with his Folsom teammate Ryder Lyons Ryder Lyons 6’2″ | 205 lbs | QB Folsom | 2026 State CA at quarterback.
TIGHT ENDS
Degraaf is a long tight end who is not a speed demon but can create some separation at the end of the route.
He had some of the best hands of the camp and made some tiptoe catches in the back of the endzone.

OTHER TOP PERFORMERS
Gilmer could have very well been named the MVP and nobody would have protested. He drew a lot of positive comments from the coaches.
He has some of the best hands in the class and can make challenging catches look easy. He also has the agility to change direction very quickly.
Butler showed flashes of why he is the top-ranked receiver on Prep Redzone on Sunday.
He is so explosive out of his breaks and can really turn on the jets after the catch.
Harris is a very impressive athlete who looked great during the individual drills.
He was a great deep ball threat for Mater Dei last season and showed that ability Sunday with his great top end speed. He can also separate at the line of scrimmage.
Robinson is one of the more impressive route runners I have seen. He can get in and out of breaks better than nearly every receiver in the class.
He has the speed to get open but also can get open with his crisp route running. He is a nightmare to cover in man coverage.
Highlights
Gresham can turn on the jets and was running past defensive backs all day.
He’s a good hand catcher and has the strength to withstand contact through the catch.
Pellum was very impressive as a freshman at Millikan and I saw him have a bad game in person and soured on him.
He showed me why he is so highly-ranked on Sunday. He gets in and out of his breaks and has strong hands. Pellum is as good of an athlete as anyone in the class.
