announced his commitment to Washington on Sunday.
Degraaf is a top two or three guy in the state for his position. I saw him at the Under Armour Next Camp and at the National Preps Showcase and he caused matchup nightmares.
He had 15 other offers and also took visits to Arkansas, Michigan State and Utah in addition to Washington.
Degraaf was one of many California players to commit to Washington over the past week.

Degraaf stood out at the Under Armour Camp and was a matchup nightmare for the defensive backs in the one-on-one period.
He is a better route runner than most tight ends and is bigger than a traditional receiver. Degraaf locked in an official visit with Michigan State shortly after the event.

Degraaf is a long tight end who is not a speed demon but can create some separation at the end of the route.
He had some of the best hands of the camp and made some tiptoe catches in the back of the endzone.

DeGraaf’s recruiting stock has been steadily rising since transferring to Glendora last year pulling in offers from Oregon State, Washington, ASU, and Washington State over the summer and recently adding Hawaii and Arizona during his junior season. He’s got great versatility that can operate out of the slot or as an inline TE that is equally effective as a blocker in the run game as he is as a receiver. Flashes good all-around game speed, he’s a strider with good leg drive and initial quickness/burst out of stance. As a route runner, he’s smooth in/out of his cuts with the ability to drop his hip level and accelerate out of his breaks to create separation. Great concentration and ability to adjust to the ball in the air. A lot to like about his skillset and should see him climb rankings and recruiting boards as he progresses.
