He told Luca Evans of the LA Daily News that his decision was partially due to the exodus of transfers from USC and the amount of talent in Oregon’s recruiting class.

Pellum had a long kick return touchdown and caught seven passes for 112 yards with two touchdowns.

Millikan receiver Ryan Pellum Ryan Pellum Ryan Pellum 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Millikan | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to USC early last week.

At one point, Pellum was the highest-rated player in the class according to Prep Redzone and is still the top receiver in the class according to the rankings.

He played in 9 games last season and caught 52 passes for 1028 yards with 10 touchdowns.

Pellum chose USC over 41 other schools that offered him and he announced his decision with his newborn son on the Millikan campus.

He is the sixth player from California in USC’s 2024 recruiting class and the fourth receiver.
