I cannot stress to you enough about how good this young man already is. Overton junior may break the schools all-time rushing record before his time at Freedom is over. Coming from a family of stars he is in line to be the next one and he has plenty of FCS level offers to show for it. Old Dominion, Virginia and Duke are a few of the more recent Institutions to offer him, by now his list of offers may be in the 50s and I am not surprised. Playing for the state champions Freedom loves them some football and Overton is no exception!

One of the biggest threats for Freedom in their quest to repeat as State Champions may very well be in their division with the Patriot Pioneers. What may be the reason the Pioneers can take down the Eagles is this young man Jackson McCarter. We have talked about him before but between him and Overton they are neck and neck for the top running backs in the state. That is not a knock on either as they are both special talents but the difference is McCarter and Patriot are the hunters, while Overton and Freedom are the hunted.

South County is one of the traditional powers out of Northern Virginia and we know all about a number of their kids for 2024. What we do not know yet is about is Tyler Orth Tyler Orth 5’11” | 180 lbs | WR South County | 2025 State VA , who as a sophomore already received all-district selection. An electric slot receiver for the Stallions who may be the heir apparent to top ranked Jordan Dennis Jordan Dennis 5’9″ | 165 lbs | QB South County | 2024 State VA , once he graduates next year. Orth can line up all over the field and is tremendous route runner that can always find a hole in your defense. The Stallions are set for a big year in 2023, getting Orth involved more offensively could help them get over the hump!

Cameron Binkowski
Cameron Binkowski
The Bobcats faithful fanbase must love the Binkowski family, as they have two of their boys who both will play division 1 football! We have profiled big brother Brandon previously, but his brother Cameron is a force too. The first team all region selection, Cameron had 12 sacks last year from his defensive end position. Binkowski is a mean menacing force off the edge and has good wheels to play outside linebacker too. Watching his tape as he shows his versatility, I still believe defensive end is his best bet at the FCS level. Looking forward to watching Cameron and his big brother wreak havoc for the Bobcats in 2023.

Hard to miss this kid in the class of 2025 for quarterbacks, not only in Virginia but the entire country. The reigning state champion returns under center for the Warriors having amassed ridiculous numbers as a sophomore. Wilson can throw deep, on the run and while being hit, this kid may be the total package. One of the few qbs in the state with Division 1 offers already, this dude also gets it done in the classroom with a 3.7 GPA. Its time to recognize this young man and Saint Michael, they have something special brewing down in Fredericksburg.
