The younger brother of QB Cole Lacrue, the junior sibling is certainly ready to pave his own path at a productive high school career. Instead of playing quarterback, it’s Ty Lacrue that puts in the dirty work within the trenches. Using his 235-pound frame to have his way with the opposition, the soon-to-be-junior does a tremendous job in using his hands for placement while standing firm with a steady base when rushers come at him. Even more impressively, the Broomfield product is more balanced than an upside cake in regards to his pass and run blocking. Without a doubt, Lacrue will continue to develop his game with more experience which should only strike even more fear into the opposition.

Who says kickers aren’t football players? Not me, as Rhett Armstrong Rhett Armstrong 6’4″ | 160 lbs | K Palmer Ridge | 2025 State CO who place-kicks for Palmer Ridge has thus far proven his worth on a football field with his booming leg and impeccable accuracy. A first-team kicker and punter in 2022, Armstrong didn’t have a ton of field goal opportunities last season, but instead was super dependable with his PAT’s. Believe it or not, Armstrong went a remarkable 54-55 on extra-point attempts as a sophomore. Alas, he should only see more field goals tries from long distance this fall with his increased leg power.

A.J. Guida
A.J. Guida
A three-star prospect out of Mullen High School, linebacker A.J Guida is one of the more impressive prospects at his position from a pure size standpoint. As Guida embarks on his senior year only a couple months from now, there is no question that he passes the eye test. Of course, this happens to be the case to an even higher degree on tape, as Guida possesses the proper amount of quickness, toughness, and mental intelligence to be a major factor at the next level. After erupting for 104 tackles including nine TFL’s a season ago, it wouldn’t be a shock if he surpasses these numbers in 2023.

Another talented playmaker hailing from the Cherry Creek football machine, the Bruins certainly benefit from Herron’s game-changing speed. With hops for days that make up for his smallish 5’10” frame, Herron is an athlete through and through. Already garnering national attention from colleges around the nation, the Class of 2024 graduate found the end zone a whopping 13 times last season and sliced and diced opposing defensive backs for six 100-yard outings. Entering the fall, it should be expected that this is Mr. Herron’s world and we’re all just living in it.

After doubling his receiving yardage total from 2021 to 2022, it could end up being Grady Forsythe Grady Forsythe 6’4″ | 215 lbs | TE Conifer | 2024 State CO that quickly establishes himself as the top tight end at his position six months from now. As it stands, Forsythe is ranked as the third-best tight end in the class of 2024 according to Prep Redzone, but it isn’t out of the realm that he ends up looking up to no one by the time he plays his final snap of high school ball. At first glance, Forsythe moves well for someone his size and also can get the job done in the running and passing game. In addition, the big body target is a major red-zone threat where he is expected to see his touchdown totals sky-rocket by the end of the year.
