Tristan was a speedy back who had an astonishing amount of top-end speed, both traits of which allowed this young man to shake past defenders expeditiously. Tristan is a young running back who displayed a fantastic ability at catching the ball out of the backfield and slipping past his defender en route to the end zone. This young man was able to come out of the backfield, go up for a catch, and come down with the ball against defenders who were much taller than he was. This ability to come down with the ball more often than not will aid Tristan in a changing world where the ball is thrown ever more. All of this is, of course, in addition to the fact that Tristan was fantastic coming out of the backfield, shaking the defenders, and moving north toward the endzone. Tristan showed that he is a back who has what it takes to get the job done out of the backfield, no matter the play.

Nate was phenomenal this weekend in Barrington as he was keen on dominating and alluding those across from him. Nate showed that he has a solid base and always keeps his legs beneath him, two traits that are needed for a running back to stay elusive. When attacking his Indy drills, Nate made sure to finish through the line and was always giving 110% in all drills. This young man’s motor did not stop, something I expect carries him through tacklers in contact scenarios. Nate’s skillset also encompasses a fantastic ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, something that can see him become a dual threat back as the years’ progress. I expect Nate will blossom into a force to be reckoned with as his career goes on.
Dallas took the crown of “Fastest at camp” this past weekend during the Prospect Tour Showcase during the timed 40 exercises, but that speed was also on display as he partook in one-on-one drills later in the day. Dallas was a young man who attacked all exercises with an emphasis on improving his skillset instead of going with the motions. Dallas was locked in from the first whistle of the camp to the last, and it all cumulated with an exceptional display of competition at the end. This young man was a menace out of the backfield, keeping the ball tight and going up for it when it was a pass. Dallas was able to run crisp routes out of the backfield, a trait that would make it unsurprising for me to see him lining up out wide in the future. Overall, Dallas showed to be a versatile player who I am sure has a bright future ahead of him.
Lundon showed to be a phenomenal running back who was able to shake defenders like no other. Lundon was quick on his feet which allowed him to be highly elusive when partaking in the competition drills. Lundon’s speed was also displayed during the 40-yard exercise, where he put up one of the fastest times at camp with a 5.03. This young man’s attitude towards the game was made apparent in the way that he was focused on the coaching points being made and showed to make proper adjustments based on the coach’s directions. Lundon is bound to be a fantastic back for years to come, with a versatility that could see him excel anywhere on the field.
