I’ve been compiling a list of recruits whom I believe are bona fide FBS/FCS talent. With the transfer portal, many high school recruits are getting overlooked who traditionally would’ve had more options. In the next group all but one of the five have at least one D1 offer. Don’t worry; I’ll be the voice of reason that screams, “GET THESE KIDS TO YOUR SUMMER CAMP!”

HAWK’S OPINION:
Evan has some of the best top-end speed I’ve seen on film in the 2024 class. It’s clear that he’s the “find ways to get the ball in his hands” guy. He exhibits his home run-hitting speed on spot screens, jet sweeps, seam verticals, and quick pitches. Evan has reliable hands & he’s a dangerous receiver out of the backfield. His physicality can be seen when he’s pursuing the ball and blitzing off the edge. Although he’s stout enough to be a RB, I like Evan as a slot WR on the next level with that speed on the hash. He’s also capable of playing Safety with his natural attributes. His skillset will be an asset on punt, field goal block teams, along with kick returning. McCracken has one FBS offer from Army & has been receiving interest from Penn State & WVU.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Boyd is another D1 prospect with the afterburners to take it to the house from anywhere on the field. Boyd is an explosive prospect with speed and a knack for making plays. He displays a quick burst off the line and can accelerate in and out of his cuts with ease, displaying impressive lateral agility and strong hands. Defensively, he has remarkable recovery speed and ball skills, while his intensity and self-assurance translate to impact plays on both sides of the field. All of these attributes have earned Khiryn significant attention from D1 programs but no offers as of yet. I think Boyd is capable of playing FBS football and should already have FCS opportunities.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Hundley has a sturdy foundation and delivers a powerful punch for his weight, which makes him a viable option at OT, & multiple DL positions, including DE and DT. His frame is capable of supporting additional weight while maintaining his explosiveness off the snap. His athleticism for OT is evident in his man blocking, down blocking, and kick-slide pass protection. Kelsey’s game is characterized by his physicality and tenacious pursuit on the defensive end, as well as his blocking prowess. With his 6’4 260-pound frame and wingspan, he’s able to effectively lock out opposing linemen. It’s worth noting that he’s added a natural 20 pounds since the 2022 season concluded, indicating continued growth and improvement.

HAWK’S OPINION:
I think Daniel’s potential lies on defense at DE on the next level. He exhibits explosive power coming off the ball and demonstrates excellent hand technique when pass-rushing. His agility and speed also translate well in run pursuit. He gives a sideline-to-sideline effort with good lateral movement, making him a formidable presence down the line of scrimmage. With his size, he can get into throwing lanes to swat down passes. At the college level, he’s versatile enough to make valuable contributions to every special team.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Reamer is a gargantuan 6’6 320 pound O-line prospect that’s been on the radar of some D1 programs. He stands out as the biggest lineman on a team that’s already stacked with size and strength. Liam plays with a low pad level and has the proper bend in his OL stance, while showing off a powerful punch and the ability to drive defenders out of the box. He has solid footwork in pass protection, as demonstrated by his consistent execution of pass sets. Liam’s overall strength progressed in 2022 which showcases a marked improvement in work ethic, solidifying his status as a promising prospect.
