Big believer that if McCracken was even an inch or two taller, he’d be getting his fair share of notable looks right now. But on the field, there’s very few running backs in Pennsylvania that match his abilities.

With a reported 4.38 yard dash, McCracken makes up for any size concerns with his speed and athleticism. He’s fantastic in both close quarters and the open field. Incredibly elusive, you have to be sure you’re going to wrap him up because if you don’t, he’s liable to take a carry not just for a first down and more but possibly a touchdown as well.

Just an outstanding running back overall.

After our junior rankings were released, we were pleased to give Evan a D1 grade. His first tape as a junior solidified that grade. McCracken is moving differently, showing incredible lateral agility and burst at running back. I love McCracken at running back, he looks natural in the open field, while having the build to sustain hits in the trenches. Can’t forget about the energy he plays with at linebacker or his pass-catching ability at the line of scrimmage. Can’t wait to rank him as a top 100 prospect. Evan racked up 163 total yards from scrimmage, scoring three times for Richland.
