I’ve been compiling a list of recruits whom I believe are bona fide FBS/FCS talent. With the transfer portal, many high school recruits are getting overlooked who traditionally would’ve had more options. Don’t worry; I’ll be the voice of reason that screams, “GET THESE KIDS TO YOUR SUMMER CAMP!”

HAWK’S OPINION:
AzJaun is a versatile athlete who excels on both offense and defense. Marshall, in particular, plays man coverage in the slot very well. He is a good open-field tackler who is not afraid to trigger fast and cause a TFL. I believe he could play any DB position based on his hips, speed, ball skills, and man coverage abilities. As a wide receiver, he is very shifty and quick off the line of scrimmage. He runs sharp routes and does not rely on his body to catch the ball. He is a sharp route runner with strong hands. His shiftiness makes him difficult to tackle on screens, jet sweeps, reverses, and seam routes.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Settles is a crisp route runner who can quickly transition in and out of breaks. His ball skills are above average on both sides of the field. Settles possesses the speed to stretch defenses as a wide receiver and regularly makes big plays. He also displays good hip movement at DB, allowing him to break on the ball swiftly. His 6’1 frame is beneficial for contesting 50/50 balls against larger wide receivers.

HAWK’S OPINION:
I wrote about Kaeden before he received his first D1 offer and thought to myself, “This is an FBS recruit that people don’t know about yet.” Since then, he has received an FBS offer from Bowling Green, but that’s the only offer he has received at that level. However, the FCS level is well aware of Singleton’s skill set. My point is that more MAC schools at the very least should’ve already offered Kaeden. In my opinion, programs like Toledo or Temple that have a strong presence in western PA should be proactive evaluating Kaeden.
Singleton has a frame that allows him to add more weight without compromising his athleticism. He exhibits impressive overall ability when flexed out at TE running routes and catching passes. However, I personally prefer his pass rush ability and quick get-off as a DE. With a height of 6’2, he can effectively disrupt throwing lanes and make it challenging for opposing QBs. While he’s still improving on shedding blocks, he demonstrates natural instincts when pursuing ball carriers. On the high school level, he’s been a mismatch athletically versus offensive tackles. Singleton will also be valuable on special teams at the FBS level.

HAWK’S OPINION:
To start, Braylon is a legitimate 6’2 cover corner who moves with the agility of someone who is 5’10. He is a versatile athlete who can make big plays on both offense and defense. As a receiver, his impressive hands and speed allow him to make difficult catches and stretch the field. On defense, he excels as a lockdown corner who can match up with any receiver and contest the ball. Braylon is not afraid to hit and is a solid tackler overall.

HAWK’S OPINION:
The same thing I said about Kaeden Singleton Kaeden Singleton 6'2" | 225 lbs | DL Canon-McMillan | 2024 State PA is also true about Beckham Dee Beckham Dee 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Mt. Lebanon | 2024 State PA . He received his first FBS offer from Toledo a couple of months ago, but that’s the only FBS program that has offered him so far. I actually believe that Beckham Dee Beckham Dee 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Mt. Lebanon | 2024 State PA and Pittsburgh Central Catholic’s LB Anthony Speca Anthony Speca 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2024 State PA have very similar abilities. As a matter of fact, I think Beckham might be a better zone dropper into coverage. He has explosive speed when blitzing, and he lays the wood when he tackles. Plus, he’s a textbook sideline to sideline LB that’s very hard to block.
