College recruiting never stops. With some schools beginning to reach out to some of the upcoming stars in the game, it’s important to know about kids that are about to break the internet. The Class of 2027 is loaded with TONS of undiscovered talent around the country and here are some athletes that you need to know about now.
Huynh is an Athlete who can play a number of different positions. This past season he primarily played quarterback but also took reps at wide receiver and defensive back. He’s an all-around player maker with who can beat you with both his arm and his legs. He’s got good pocket presence and does a nice job moving the pocket and working to find an open receiver. Standing at 5-foot-9, 150-pound, Huynh is a name that many will become familiar with across the Southwest.
Highlights
The bloodlines run deep for Kasper as his father Kevin played college football at both Iowa and Oregon before playing in the NFL for 8 seasons. His brother, Kyler Kasper Kyler Kasper 6’5″ | 195 lbs | WR Williams Field | 2023 AZ , is currently a 6-foot-5, 4-star Oregon commit. Braylon has good straight-line speed and is quick and crips in and out of his cuts. He’s able to create separation but setting up the defender and showcases soft hands and the ability to high point the football. He’ll become a household name over the next few seasons.
Barjona is a highly efficient quarterback who excels at making quick decisions and delivering accurate passes. He’s got a smooth throwing motion and can deliver the ball with great touch and precision. He’s got dual-threat ability as he’s not afraid to tuck the ball and run when the pocket collapses. Standing at only 5-foot-9, 140-pound, Barjona has room to grow.
Kupu is a versatile linebacker prospect with natural instincts and ability to key and diagnose, play downhill, and drop comfortably in coverage. Kupu has good size as he’s currently a thick 5-foot-11, 200-pounds. He’s comfortable playing sideline to sideline and isn’t afraid to put his nose to the football. He does a nice job fighting through contact and disrupting the backfield on blitzes. Also continues to improve overall athleticism and quickness playing 7v7 this spring for The Squad.
Here’s one to get really excited about, out in the desert. The son of Kansas City Chief’s 2011 first round pick Jon Baldwin, Jaden is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver with all the physical genetics and tools in the world. Bluntly put, he is a matchup nightmare for smaller defensive backs. Baldwin is an impressive prospect with good ball skills, who has often made big plays as a deep threat. He is capable of taking short passes or end arounds to the house. He’s quick in and out of his breaks and has good top end speed which make him difficult to defend in the deep part of the field. I can see him developing into one of the highest rated recruits in Arizona for the class pf 2027.
Hildabrand has often been the biggest offensive lineman on the field as he currently stands at 6-foot-4 and 260-pounds. This young offensive line prospect is powerful in the upper half and moves freely in the trenches, with the potential to improve technique and become a multi-year starter at the next level. Although he plays a little high at times he often fires off the ball and gets to the second level in a hurry. He has natural upper body strength and impressive block-finishing skills, length and athleticism and plays with a nasty disposition. I think he could be a really good offensive tackle on Friday nights and beyond, if he keeps progressing.
