Georgia Future Stars: Gwinnett County MVP’s and Headliners
In this article:
Future Stars Game had their last camp in the Metro Atlanta area in the talent filled Gwinnett County. Gwinnett camp proved to provide top notch talent at each grade level, with some of the elite kids at each level.
The most impressive performance of this camp, and maybe of all was from running back Jerry Andrew Jerry Beard. Beard is the complete package, and simply the best athlete on the field. His 4.65 in the 40 was the second best of anybody this year at Future Stars Camp. But Beard is not just a speed guy, he is a super competitive athlete. He runs excellent routes and hands as a receiver. His change of direction, athleticism and competitiveness make him a candidate as the top athlete in the 2027 class.
Highlights
David Jacobs David Jacobs 6’4″ | 195 lbs | DL Blessed Trinity Catholic | 2027 State GA showed why many consider him a likely candidate to be the #1 recruit in the state of Georgia. The 6-5 athlete has the skill set, ability, and frame to develop into a pass rushing defensive end with 1st round draft pick potential. He is long, fast, very high football IQ and aggressive. He could be a defensive end with speed to run with elite skill players. He reminds us of a Jadeveon Clowney with a work ethic and determination to be the best.
Class of 2027 QB Elam Rahman Elam Rahman 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB North Gwinnett | 2027 GA is a quarterback that plays with a chip on his shoulder. He is technically sound with good feel for the game. He does a good job of throwing his receivers open. He is athletic enough to make plays outside of the pocket. Displayed arm strength to throw the deep outs on a rope and the touch to throw open receivers on deep routes.
2027 receiver Jeremiah Proctor Jeremiah Proctor 6’2″ | 190 lbs | WR Collins Hill | 2027 GA runs very good routes. Proctor showed excellent hands catching the ball with his hands away from his body. He does a good job getting in and out of breaks to create separation, all of which makes him a player to watch in this class.

2028 lineman Cameron Middleton walked away with the Gwinnett County MVP. He has an excellent frame with length and the ability to pack on a ton of good weight, standing 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds at check in. Mathew Craft Jr. is a very unique talent. He is a big running back with very good feet and top end speed. He runs with aggression and purpose. At just under 190 pounds, he is big enough to run through tackles and fast enough to out run others when he gets into the secondary.

AJ Garrison of Lawrenceville is a 2029 guy that is one to keep you eye on. His size and speed make him a top level running back at this age, but depending on how he grows he could be a next level linebacker or defensive end.
