Nalin Scott Nalin Scott 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Kennesaw Mountain | 2026 State GA – WR – Kennesaw Mountain
One of the top wide receiver prospects in Cobb County, Scott is a bigger, faster receiver out of Kennesaw Mountain with an excellent 6-foot-3 200-pound frame. Scott has sky-high potential as an electric vertical threat who can break tackles and elude defenders after the catch. He didn’t light up the stat sheet, but he did catch 30 passes for 630 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns. His potential and big-play ability are easy to see, and he recently added a new offer from the national champion Michigan Wolverines. If he can continue to improve as a route-runner and stays healthy, Scott should have no problem torching defenses in 2023. He’s currently ranked as the No. 4 WR prospect and the No. 23 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class.
Jake Godfree Jake Godfree 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB North Gwinnett | 2027 State GA – LB – North Gwinnett
We’ve written about this young North Gwinnett linebacker in the past as an “under the radar” prospect, but now his recruitment has taken off. This sure-tackling defender has good size, instincts, and toughness at 6-foot-0 200-pounds, and now the offers are coming in bunches. Godfree has had a massive week on the recruiting trail, adding offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Boston College, Duke, among others. He runs well, hits hard, and was one of the most productive freshmen linebackers across the state last year, making 78 tackles, seven TFLs and three sacks. He does his job, is strong for his age, and already shows strong leadership skills. As good as he was last year, Godfree will only improve more and more this off-season as he attempts to have a dominant sophomore season in the fall. Look for him to be one of the top-ranked 2027 linebackers in Georgia down the road.
Deion Thomas Deion Thomas 6'3" | 195 lbs | WR Westlake | 2026 State GA – WR – Westlake
A promising Atlanta-area receiver to know about in the 2026 class, Thomas is a lean, sure-handed pass-catcher who added a new offer this week from the Michigan Wolverines. The Westlake (GA) standout also holds offers from Tennessee, Liberty, Memphis, Georgia State, among others. The 6-foot-3 195-pounder has big-play ability and impressive speed and burst for his size and age already. An above-average route-runner who can get open down the field, Thomas is a consistent threat in the red-zone with his size and ball skills. He can leap high in the air and snag the ball at it’s highest point over smaller defenders. As he continues to develop his craft and improve his route-running, Thomas could see more offers come his way over the next few weeks. He’s a 2026 prospect with the potential to have a massive junior season in the fall.
Kennedi Bailey Kennedi Bailey 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Westlake | 2026 State GA – DB – Westlake
A breakout 2026 defensive back on the rise in South Fulton, Bailey is a long, promising defensive back versatile enough to play multiple positions in the secondary. The 6-foot-2 170-pounder is someone the Westlake staff is very high on, and with spring practice here, college coaches across the country have liked what they’ve seen so far. Bailey earned a recent offer from the Michigan Wolverines, and it certainly won’t be the last one coming his way anytime soon. He covers a lot of ground both on the perimeter and down the middle of the field. He reacts quickly against the pass, but knows how to make a key tackle against the run as well. His best football is way ahead of him, and he’s likely boung for a giant junior season for the Lions this fall.
