Markel Aguirre Markel Aguirre 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Whitewater | 2026 State GA – Luella
An impressive two-way athlete with good hands, burst, and versatility, Aguirre is a 6-foot-0 180-pound pass-catcher who is one of the best after the catch. He shows soft, dependable hands and knows how to secure the ball and get up the field for extra yards. He’s a quick-footed receiver who brings a level of shiftiness and acceleration that allows him to separate from defensive backs down the field. He can sneak past defenders down the field and can be a major vertical weapon in one one-on-one coverage. He’s a prospect on the rise in the 2026 class who is bound for a giant junior season next year. This sure-handed receiver caught only 28 passes last year, but he took them for 629 yards and four touchdowns. Look for him to see even more passes come his way in 2024 along with an updated ranking in the next Prep Redzone update.
Chasen Jones – East Hall
A bigger, possession type of receiver flying under the radar from Hall County, Jones has good size at 6-foot-2 200-pounds and runs really well for his size. A natural athlete who can pick up yards after the catch, this underrated sophomore shows enough burst to help in the screen game, and his ability to make a catch over defenders down the field makes him a dependable down-field threat as well. A 1st-team All-Region selection last year, this tough, tackle-breaking receiver caught 55 passes in 2023 for 730 yards and four touchdowns. A two-way player who made a big impact on both sides of the ball, Jones will be even better next fall as a junior. If he continues to work hard and be a more consistent route-runner, Jones could have possibly dominant junior season this year. He’s one of the top young athletes in the Gainesville area and was one of the more productive receivers in the area for the 2026 class. He’s a big receiver to know about, and he’ll see a new ranking in the next Prep Redzone rankings update.
Bubba Frazier Bubba Frazier 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Benedictine Military School | 2026 State GA – Benedictine
One of the most explosive receivers across Georgia for the 2026 class, Frazier is a playmaking pass-catcher from Savannah who is ranked as the No. 27 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class. An electric receiver with a long offer list already, Frazier is coming off an outstanding junior season last year where he led the 6A class in receiving for sophomores. The state-champion wideout hauled in 53 passes for 753 yards and 7 total touchdowns. His speed is elite, but he also shows consistent hands and the ability to pick up big yards after the catch. He ran a personal-best 10.69 in the 100-meter earlier this year and has a knack for flying past defensive backs down the field. The Savannah area is loaded with exceptional pass-catchers, and Frazier is one of the best. If he continues to work on his route-running and can create consistent separation from defenders, Frazier is likely to have a giant junior season once again in 2024.
