Talking with most in the know, Marquez Wimberly Marquez Wimberly 5'9" | 185 lbs | ATH Nazareth | 2026 State PA is a name that will blow up sooner or later. There’s no denying the young man’s talent, we at Prep Redzone are all too familiar with Nazareth freshman’s complete package. College coaches are in on Wimberly, it’s a matter of camping well this Spring/Summer. Wimberly replicating his early success in combine settings will more than likely win over FBS/FCS schools in the coming months. Wimberly checks off many boxes, If I were a betting man, I’d bet the house on the blossoming two-way prospect.
Testing numbers in camp settings are a huge indicator of whether or not a prospect is a real candidate for early interest in the form of offers. This is known. What’s not known is how well Da’Ron Barksdale Da’Ron Barksdale 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Steel Valley | 2026 State PA performs in a combine setting. If you were to ask me, the young man has an incredible physique for his age, one that should serve him well in all areas outside of the 40. Predicting 40 times are always tricky, Barksdale will need to prove his speed in front of FBS coaches this summer. His tape and athleticism can’t be ignored, however.
While Wimberly and Barksdale might have to prove themselves in shorts and a t-shirt, I think Sidique Kamara Sidique Kamara 6’1″ | 205 lbs | LB Cardinal O’Hara | 2026 State PA might have a little more work to do on and off the field. His frame for his age is a plus. His tape grades out to meet the Division One ceiling threshold. I know coaches will still have a variety of questions regarding Kamara. They’ll want to see production double or even triple. There will be questions regarding his development ceiling at Cardinal O’Hara. Those questions, while understandable, will more than likely be answered over time, as opposed to over the next few months at camp settings. I still have Kamara as a candidate for early offers.
I might point to exposure as the leading factor holding Darren Jackson Darren Jackson 6’3″ | 185 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2026 State PA back. I don’t think many programs are aware of this young man’s overall skillset, as well as the potential athleticism he brings to the table. Lansdale has done a great job getting his name out, I just hope those programs are listening. 6’3 TE/DE prospects with this athletic ceiling don’t grow on trees. You can expect him to develop well in the Catholic League too. I could foresee a future where Jackson wows important people in camps this Summer. Watch out for his name to blow up sooner rather than later.
There’s a sleeper hiding deep inside the loaded roster that is the Loyalsock Township Hudl. It’s tough to ignore kids like Tyler Gee Tyler Gee 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA and Jaylen Andrews Jaylen Andrews 6’3″ | 180 lbs | WR Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA when watching Loyalsock work. Even tougher when Davion Hill Davion Hill 6’2″ | 215 lbs | RB Loyalsock Township | 2023 State PA and Rian Glunk Rian Glunk 6’1″ | 175 lbs | ATH Loyalsock Township | 2023 State PA were putting on a show last Fall. Jeremiah Johnson Jeremiah Johnson 6’2″ | 265 lbs | DL Loyalsock Township | 2026 State PA is a freshman that needs just a hint of exposure to possibly propel him to that next-level status. That being said, he hardly needs any help in the form of tape or production. The 6’4 defensive lineman checks off many boxes, some being measurables, production, and versatility. I wouldn’t be surprised to see his name blow up this off-season.

We can begin with the obvious. Coaches across the nation are on a constant hunt for offensive linemen/tackle prospects that boast the size and frame Tyler Duell Tyler Duell 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL West Chester East | 2026 State PA possesses. 6’6, 240, West Chester East’s blooming tackle prospect is a prime candidate to win over coaches in camps this Summer. I fully expect the long-limbed, athletic tackle to wow the right people. That being said, Duell’s tape is a bit raw, so I’m projecting that the young tackle has worked on his game consistently since the end of his freshman campaign. I have no doubt the coaching staff at WCE will whip him into shape. Expect G5s to be high on this young man. If he can stack great performances this Summer, you could hear his name a ton moving forward.

Dante Carr Dante Carr 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Minersville | 2026 State PA is one of the more intriguing and polarizing prospects I’ve come across this early into his career. The main issue surrounding Carr, in terms of potential early recruitment, is the competition level he’s facing on a weekly basis. Not to say that it isn’t great, I know for a fact coaches are weary to stamp the young man before seeing him throw in person. I don’t deny the young man’s production, mechanics, or size, he’s got a lot going for him already. That being said, coaches will have to be wowed by his arm in person for schools to begin to think about pulling the trigger. It’s worth noting how tough things can be for quarterbacks. Being recruited early at this position as opposed to others means a tad more.
I project elite athlete Daron Harris Daron Harris 6'3" | DB Chester | 2026 State PA will wow coaches in camp settings this Summer. I feel more confident in that evaluation than any other on this list. We can debate whether Harris should be recruited at DB, or WR, that’s not a concern for me this early on. I know coaches are wanting to see what kind of athlete Daron Harris Daron Harris 6'3" | DB Chester | 2026 State PA is, luckily, I’ve been able to see him work in person on multiple occasions. I can vouch for the overt athleticism this kid possesses. You can expect Harris to provide the flare, the ohs-and-ahs at camps this Summer. Don’t be surprised to hear his name all summer long.
