Katory Henry-Shaw
Katory Henry-Shaw
Henry-Shaw, an asset to the defensive lineup at Harvey High School is one to watch during this off-season. There are multiple strengths Henry-Shaw shows when he is on the field one of them being his ability to create a tight window between him and opposing receivers. In addition to this, the immense awareness Henry-Shaw has for his opposing offenses along with his speed sets him apart on the field. I am excited to see where he goes during this off-season and what to watch for in his last season approaching.
Colombi an incredible asset to Chardon’s safety and linebacker positions is one to watch. As he enters into the off-season Colombi sits at 39 solo tackles, 2 interceptions, 9 PBU’s, and other amazing stats. Watching Colombi play is that of a textbook example of a linebacker as he has immense intuition for where the ball is headed as well as response to opposing receivers. Throughout this off-season I am excited to see how Colombi applied pressure more and more on offenses in next season and concludes his high school season even more elite than where he is right now.
Highlights
Courtad, a huge impactful player of Auroras defensive lineup pushes the boundaries in all things at the DT position. Coming in at 6’1 260, Courtad has been apart of 40+ tackles, 5 TFL’s, a forced fumble and blocked field goal, as well as many other big plays. As Courtad’s size is a plus to his playing strategy his speed and agility are a huge component allowing him to apply pressure and be dominant against opposing offenses. As Courtad is entering into the off-season I am interested to see where else he goes with these talents and watch him excel in his last season.
Pillar of Mayfield high school is a cornerback is a special player when in tough match-ups. Pillar not only forced fumbles in his junior season but holds opposing receivers to tight windows further allowing more advantage to Pillar and his defensive teammates. In addition to this prime athleticism, Pillar’s speed is a huge asset to his playing style and allows him to follow through accordingly in each play he is apart of. I’m excited to see where Pillar directs his athleticism in the off-season and what results he brings into his last season, making him even more electric on the field.
Sell is a powerhouse from Garfield high school. Not only is his athleticism proven on the field the stats show his capabilities as will. Coming in with 114 solo tackles out of his junior season it is evident that Sell applies pressure to his opposing offenses. In addition to this Sell has immense awareness of the QB which then led him to 5 sacks and definite yards for loss. Creating tight windows for receivers and pressure are both Sell’s strong suits and I’m excited to see where he goes with these talents in the off-season for his last high school season!
