Bryce also did a great job of avoiding the strong pass rush of Moeller and did not take a sack. That's huge considering the Crusaders defense had produced 12 sacks in the last two weeks. When he had to scramble, he kept his eyes downfield and made throws on the run to extend plays. He also delivered accurate intermediate and deep shots from the pocket. His completion percentage was even a little lower than it should have been if not for a few dropped balls. Even in the face of adversity and a stout rush Schondelmyer delivered strikes all night long.

2023 OLB/S [player_tooltip player_id='525740' first='Tawfig' last='Jabbar'] 6'1 190- Jabarr had a big night finishing with 10 tackles and a key interception that would seal the win for the Wildcats. Jabbar can play the run and also did a great job of covering receivers in man coverage out into routes. He's thick enough that he can also come up and take on blockers and make plays versus the run. Jabbar is a worker who I can see being a versatile asset to a college defense at the next level.

2024 OLB [player_tooltip player_id='525741' first='Bryce' last='Washington'] 6'2 205- Washington was all over the place for the Wildcats defense. He tallied 15 tackles on the evening. Even when he didn't make the tackle he was usually somewhere in the area. Washington is a long linebacker who can run sidelines to sidelines. He also does a good job of coming up and meeting blockers to help set the edge in the run game. Washington also has the athleticism to drop and cover as needed. He's only going to get better as he continues to add weight and strength.

Jackson Heims

2025 LB [player_tooltip player_id='525744' first='Jackson' last='Heims'] 6'2 190- Heims didn't have a big night in terms of numbers, but he affected the game. He has a really strong burst off of the edge. He's playing defensive end for Springfield, but I project him as an Outside linebacker at the college level. He's long and twitchy. When he reads things quickly, he fires well. He plays low and with sound technique. At this point Jackson just needs to keep adding weight and strength, but I think he really has a high ceiling and am very excited to see him continue to grow and develop as a football player.

Anthony Brown

2023 WR [player_tooltip player_id='34498' first='Anthony' last='Brown'] 5'9 160- The Kentucky commit had a big night for Springfield. That big night wouldn't come without some adversity, however, as Brown would mishandle a punt that he tried to save from rolling deep into Springfield territory. Moeller recovered the bobbled ball and would score on the very next play to take a lead a 21 to 14 lead in the 4th quarter. Brown kept his head in the game and got loose for a 48-yard touchdown that would turn out to be a game winner. At 5'9 Brown can play both inside or outside. His speed causes all kinds of problems for opposing defenses. He's a polished route runner that keeps defenders guessing at all times and allows him to create separation and use his speed to finish.

Shawn Thigpen

2023 WR [player_tooltip player_id='189472' first='Shawn' last='Thigpen'] 6'3 190- Thigpen is a long and athletic receiver. He has excellent body control and runs good routes. For wide receiver of his length, he's very sudden. He does a really good job of using his footwork to get strong releases at the line of scrimmage. He has solid speed when he gets into the open and does a great job of using his length to shield defenders from the ball and making contested catches. Shawn is a soft-spoken young man who's a consistent player that just goes out, does what's asked of him, and makes plays. Thigpen is committed to play football at Bowling Green State University.

Jordan Marshall

2024 RB [player_tooltip player_id='284612' first='Jordan' last='Marshall'] 5'11 195- the talented back rushed 27 times for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Moeller running back showed off a full arsenal on his runs. He can make guys miss, he can lower his shoulder and run guys over. His leg drive and balance help him extend runs where most backs would go down. The Wildcat defense did a great job of swarming and bringing a lot of jerseys to the ball and limited the number of chunk runs by Marshall, but Marshall fought scraped, and clawed for every yard that was there. Quite simply Marshall is a special running back who's going to play at a high-level power 5 college program in the not-too-distant future. It's easy to see why he has offers from schools like Cincinnati, Michigan, and Ohio State among many other high power 5 schools.
