Four Stock Risers in Northern Ohio Who Are Generating Buzz

Some prospects in the Buckeye State have been flying under-the-radar for many months, but that has changed over the past couple of weeks as many of them have landed their first offers. Some of these prospects are likely to generate even more recruiting attention as college camp season rolls around. Here are four prospects to know as we progress through June. Ferri loves contact, running through it and maintaining balance in space. He is built like a bowling ball with 200 pounds of lean muscle. Thick in his calves, hamstrings and thighs, he is hard to bring down. He picked up a South Alabama offer during the evaluation period, expect more to take notice during college camps.     [player_tooltip player_id='1343577' first='Timothy' last='Pettaway'] is a very good starting defensive end for Toledo Whitmer. Pettaway flashes excellent edge speed, with great first-step quickness, great instincts and is outstanding in pursuit. He has a very high motor, possessing great range to defend the flat and make open-field tackles against the run. He is very disruptive and can wreck havoc on opposing quarterbacks.     Samir Brown has the chance to be an elite defensive end. The starting Class of 2028 prospect flows to the ball, takes great pursuit angles and wraps up in space. Brown has excellent speed with quick get-off at the line of scrimmage, he is a great flat defender and flashes being a very disruptive pass rusher. Legit Power 4 DE with an early offer from Akron.     Brandon Pratt is just fast. The Class of 2027 wide receiver and defensive back for St. John's Jesuit has plenty of juice. He is an exceptional kickoff returner where he shows tremendous ability to make defenders miss in space. He has great vision, cutback, top-end speed. On defense he can close on ballcarriers rapidly and flashes being a hard and very disruptive hitter, with great open-field tackling ability if he gets downhill. Pratt is a must-know name, and I expect this recruiting to take off considerably during college camp season.
