He showed off his mobility as he was able to be an effective pulling guard. He did a good job of getting to the second level and blocking downfield. He showed great technique as he played with good pad level. He was able to get his hands inside defenders and turn them away from the play. He showed that he is not only a power back but has the ability to get to the outside and get chunk yardage by beating defenders to the corner. He showed off breakaway speed as he had a number of long runs. Avit has been a beast for Churchill all year. Cooper was a big reason why. Cooper is a big guard. He is an old-school traditional guard. He likes to maul people in the run game. He does a good job of driving defenders off the ball. He also does a good job of controlling defenders and taking them away from the point of attack. He is very quick off the ball and is able to engage with defenders before they get their hands on him. He is very mobile and is able to pull and pick up blocks. He has good awareness and is able to wall off defenders away from the hole. He needs to improve his strength, size, and his ability to drive defenders downfield.
