For St. Peters, while they had more individual talent, what Delbarton does best they struggle mightily with and don’t seem to be able to recover once they get down. In addition, their best defensive player Jayden Bonsu Jayden Bonsu 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ didn’t play in this game, as St. Peter’s got bullied up front.
Here are the standout performers of the game.
Isaiah Giles
Isaiah Giles
Giles ran hard in this game and made consistent plays on the ground. He’s a smaller back with a thick frame and lower body. He’s a physical runner who gains many yards after contact. In this game, Giles had many physical runs and this game plus a touchdown. Giles is one of the best senior runningbacks without an offer.
Hassan Moore
Hassan Moore
Moore has been making big plays for St.Peter’s all year and it was no different in this game. Moore had big runs as a running back and made one of the biggest plays as a wide receiver. Moore is one of the most versatile players in the state and it showed in this game despite the awful offensive performance by the team as a whole.
London Robinson London Robinson 6'1" | 200 lbs | DL St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ came to play on the defensive side of the ball. As Delbarton continued to pound the rock on St. Peter’s, Robinson was seemingly the only player making a difference in terms of holding up at the point of attack and making some sort of impact in run defense.
He also had a beautiful sack on a crucial fourth-down play. London Robinson London Robinson 6'1" | 200 lbs | DL St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ has been St. Peter’s most consistent defensive player for the majority of the season and that remained the theme in this game.
Robert Russo
Robert Russo
When Quarterbacks can play a mistake-free brand of football I immediately become impressed, which is what Russo did in this game. Russo didn’t put the ball in harm’s way for the majority of the game and didn’t try to make too many plays outside the structure of the offense. However, he did have a beautiful touchdown pass to wide receiver Phillip Folmar Phillip Folmar 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Delbarton | 2025 State NJ rolling to his right and placing it where only his receiver can get it doing more than his part to contribute to this win.
Russo is a quarterback with great size, a solid arm, and can accurately hit deep passes down the field. Russo is committed to playing college football at Hamilton College.
Trafford had a truly sensational performance. He finished the day with 38 carries 283 yards and 3 TDs. He was putting pressure on St. Peter’s run defense all day and never let up and maximizing every carry, running behind one of the top offensive lines in the state. Trafford is a taller physical runner who can grind it between the tackles and has some sneaky speed to take it to the house if needed. Trafford had a playoff performance to remember and cap it off by delivering the knockout blow to St. Peter’s on 4th down.

Just wanted to make sure this group got some extra love. This OL is the engine that makes this team go. These young men are big and physical and move people off the line of scrimmage, which is exactly what they did against St.Peter’s, literally all day. Gaining over 300 yards of rushing offense on the day, the running lanes for Delbarton were massive and St.Peter’s had no answer on how to combat the physicality of Delbarton. This offensive line put on a masterclass of how to work together as a unit to get the job done.
