Marshall of Los Angeles got its first win of the season against rival Belmont last week.
Chilcoat had the best game of his career completing 21 of 27 passes for 376 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions.
The yards and touchdowns were both career highs for Chilcoat.
Contreras transferred to Calabasas from Sierra Canyon and had a nice day in a blowout win over Agoura.
The junior completed 11 of 15 passes for 201 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Contreras is having a nice year with nearly 1,000 yards with 11 touchdowns and just one interception this season.
Lourd bounced back from two less than stellar games with a solid performance against Burbank in week three.
The junior completed 14 of 19 passes for 274 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in a blowout win.
He has added the running game to his arsenal and that should add some value to him as a recruit.
Lourd has offers from Arizona, Florida State, Ole Miss, Purdue and San Jose State.
Anthony Luna
Anthony Luna
It’s always fun when a quarterback sets a new career-high for himself. Luna did that in week three, beating his previous career-high by a single yard.
Luna completed 20 of 37 passes for 370 yards and four touchdowns in a 39-7 win over Esperanza.
His previous high of 369 yards came in his first start for Western as a sophomore in 2021.
We had some school records when I wrote about the top rushers of the week, and we have a school-record here with the quarterbacks as well.
Noriega set a school-record for single-game touchdown passes with five in a 48-0 win over Valhalla.
He completed 13 of 16 passes for 282 yards. It was only the second time the sophomore has had over 200 yards passing and the 282 is a career-high.
