is one of those quarterbacks that is one of the top quarterbacks in the county when he is on his game.
Consistency is the key for Najm this year and Aliso Niguel’s success will largely depend on if he unlocks his excellent potential more often. There were a couple of games in which he played very poorly and the Wolverines lost one of those games (Fountain Valley), and Najm will be the first to admit that.
He has arm talent and throws one of the best deep balls in the county. He has the strength to fire it in there on shorter routes and could even take a little zip off the ball sometimes. Najm is a plus athlete who can break off a big run once in awhile.
Aliso Niguel’s skill players are better than they were last year so Najm should improve upon his completion percentage. He is a high upside pick and some colleges have shown interest.

took unofficial visits to Eastern Washington and Washington State last weekend.
Najm told Prep Redzone he really enjoyed his visit to Washington State and the Cougars are interested in him after an extensive look at his film and talking to the Aliso coaches.
He throws one of the best deep balls in Orange County and is a solid athlete who can extend plays with his legs. He needs to take some zip off the shorter throws and sometimes he misses basic reads, but he is working with top quarterback coaches and improving.
Najm threw for 1591 yards with 12 touchdowns and just four interceptions last season.

Najm was at the event last year and has put on some muscle since then. He was solid in the testing with a 4.59 shuttle and a 5.09 40 yard dash. The receivers liked him because he threw some of the best deep balls of the day. I’d like to see a little more consistency from Najm as far as his accuracy goes on the shorter throws, but the upside is very visible.

Najm was one of the top 10 quarterbacks at the event overall last year and impressed with his arm strength.
Consistency is what I’d like to see from Najm going forward. He has games where he plays like a college level quarterback and games where he makes simple mistakes, and he will be the first to agree with that.
Najm can make challenging throws look easy but sometimes misses the easy layup throws. He is a hard worker and I am excited to see him throw more on Sunday.
