Body of work plays a significant part in rankings evaluations, and no 2025 receiver in the state had a better season as a varsity starter than Rechel. In fact, there were only five freshmen in the nation to accumulate more receiving yards last season. Last season, his ability to be the go-to player on offense resulted in him earning national recognition and a Division I offer from the University of Colorado. Rechel will be coming into year two with a different quarterback, but his role as the team’s top playmaker is expected to remain the same.
Highlights
Mack had a dominating introduction to his high school career, ending his freshman season as the state’s second-leading receiver in yards (564) and touchdowns (7) among the 2025 class. He is an explosive route runner who does an excellent job of getting on the toes of the defender before creating separation at the top of his route. His athleticism gives him the ability to attack the ball in the air and win in one-on-one situations. Mack is on track to make a name for himself as a legitimate prospect, making him one to watch as he progresses.
Mervin’s high school debut ended with him landing third in receiving yards (521) and fourth in receiving touchdowns (5) among the state’s freshmen receivers. He is a strong route runner who does an excellent job of stacking the defender and exploiting the open spaces within the defense’s secondary. Mervin’s production came from his ability to be a dangerous option in the slot last season, making this year’s transition with a new QB one to watch.
Carter is well on his way to becoming one of the most unstoppable receivers in the state. His physical playing style makes him a powerful offensive weapon who is tough to cover and challenging to bring down. He also brings that physicality to the defensive side of the ball, where he lines up as a safety and does an excellent job of coming downhill and initiating contact. Carter is an ideal prospect with an extremely high ceiling.
Hoffman is an exciting young receiver whose popularity as a recruit has begun to skyrocket. He is a highly athletic player with explosive breaks, breakaway speed, and outstanding catching abilities. His extensive set of skills includes his capabilities of being a dangerous runner once the ball is in his hands. Hoffman has already started to receive college interest, making him a top recruit with significant potential.
