Malave did a great job rushing gaps and getting into the backfield. Explosive blitz take off speed using his acceleration and speed to create mismatches on opposing offenses. He was consistently putting pressure on the QB. Good block shedding with very good get off speed. Malave uses his bull rush to knock OL off their anchor. Strong tackling as well. As a receiver, he used his trusty hands to come down with the catch.
