The Elite 11 Finals will take place later in the summer and there will be 20 quarterbacks in attendance.
Here are some of the quarterbacks who performed well last weekend.
Dylan Raiola, Chandler, Arizona, 2024: The Ohio State commit got rave reviews at Steve Clarkson’s QB Retreat two weeks ago and was named the top performer at the Elite 11 Regional by 247Sports. He is a really good athlete at 6-foot-3, 230 pounds and can throw from different arm angles and platforms.
Izzy Carter Izzy Carter 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Centennial - Corona | 2023 State CA , Centennial/Corona, California, 2023: According to reports, Carter was the top class of 2023 quarterback in attendance. He is a really good athlete who has developed into a very good passer. He looked great when I saw him at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp a couple of months ago and has recently committed to Arizona State.

Gabarri Johnson Gabarri Johnson 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2023 State WA , Lincoln, Washington, 2023: Johnson is a Missouri commit who is a real dual threat quarterback. Accuracy is his biggest strength and he throws well off-platform. He had 2,222 yards last season with 28 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions.
Elijah Brown, Mater Dei, California, 2024: Brown is undefeated in his high school career and started as a freshman for the best team in the nation. He is accurate to all three levels with a smooth release and plus arm strength. When I saw him last summer in 7on7 tournaments he had a tendency to always go for the home run ball, but now he always makes the correct reads and has great timing with receivers.
Kadin Semonza Kadin Semonza 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Mission Viejo | 2023 State CA , Mission Viejo, California, 2023: Semonza won the accuracy contest of the event is as polished as any quarterback in his class. He throws hard on the intermediate routes and can drive the ball down the field. Nobody would call him a dual threat quarterback but I saw him extend plays with his legs and put together a game-winning drive mostly with his legs last season.

David Rasor David Rasor 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Corona Del Mar | 2023 State CA , Corona del Mar, California, 2023: Rasor is one of the top quarterbacks in Orange County and won the starting job at CdM as a sophomore over four other qualified candidates. The ball comes out of his hands nicely and he always hits guys in stride when you watch his film.
Sam Leavitt Sam Leavitt 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB West Linn | 2023 State OR , Westview, Oregon, 2023: Leavitt is uncommitted but is the top quarterback in the state according to the Prep Redzone rankings. He is a good athlete with a strong arm. Leavitt has offers from Arizona and Florida State.
Steele Pizzella Steele Pizzella 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Notre Dame | 2025 State CA , Simi Valley, California, 2025: Pizzella was so good as a freshman last season that when a Power 5 commit got hurt midway through the season, Pizzella filled in and split time with the senior when he came back. He isn’t a big guy at 5-foot-10 but has a quick release and throws a good ball.
Jax Leatherwood Jax Leatherwood 6'6" | 225 lbs | QB Scripps Ranch | 2023 State CA , Scripps Ranch, California, 2023: Leatherwood was one of the top quarterbacks in San Diego last season and is very impressive when you see him in person. He is committed to Nevada but recently went to a camp at Ohio State and is visiting Stanford. He is 6-foot-8 and drives the ball down the field with ease.
Ryan Staub Ryan Staub 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB West Ranch | 2023 State CA , West Ranch, California, 2023: Staub is committed to Colorado and has a great arm. His delivery is smooth and he can extend plays with his legs. He sees the field well and doesn’t pat the ball during his release like some quarterbacks do.
Brady McDonough Brady McDonough 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Desert Mountain | 2024 State AZ , Desert Mountain, Arizona, 2024: McDonough throws hard while making it look effortless. According to Nick Rock of Prep Redzone Arizona, McDonough has a high football IQ and the game comes easy to him. He has an offer from Arizona.
Ty Dieffenbach Ty Dieffenbach 6'6" | 205 lbs | QB Agoura | 2023 State CA , Agoura, California, 2023: Dieffenbach was one of the more productive quarterbacks in Southern California last season and put up massive numbers. He is every bit of 6-foot-5 and according to reports he was one of the more consistent throwers of the day. Colorado, San Diego State and UNLV have offered him.
Dylan Mills Dylan Mills 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB San Clemente | 2024 State CA , San Clemente, California, 2024: Mills transferred to San Clemente from JSerra after starting for a Trinity League team as a sophomore. I saw him at the San Clemente showcase last month and while he is competing against two young, quality quarterbacks, he consistently threw the best ball. He has Power 5 arm strength and accuracy and is improving his decision making.

Jamar Malone, Higley, Arizona, 2025: Malone won the accuracy award at the Under Armour Next All-American camp and had a strong showing at the Elite 11 Regional. He is raw but has arm talent and gets the ball to his receivers in stride and on time. When Arizona publishes its 2025 rankings on Prep Redzone, Malone will be one of the top quarterbacks listed.
Bekkem Kritza, Fairview, Colorado, 2025: Kritza is a young guy with a big frame at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds. Greg Biggins of 247Sports said he was inconsistent but showed some potential. He is a high-upside guy whose stock may rise after a productive summer and fall.
Evan Tomich Evan Tomich 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Mayfair | 2023 State CA , Mayfair, California, 2023: Tomich is having one of the best offseasons of any quarterback in California. He was the MVP of the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and is up to double-digit offers now. Biggins said he was mentioned when discussing a top five and flashed one of the better arms on the day.
Jaxon Potter Jaxon Potter 6'4" | 180 lbs | QB Santa Margarita Catholic | 2023 State CA , Santa Margarita, California, 2023: Potter struggled as a young starter at JSerra but transferred to Santa Margarita where he had a very good junior season. He is tall, could add some size but is a good athlete. He throws down the field well and showed improved decision making when he was surrounded by better talent at Santa Margarita.
