Getting ranked is simple, send me your tape and if I and other are scouts believe you can play college football at some level, you will be listed. Grades are given to each kid based on merit, measurables, production, league competition, college interest and of course, the ol’ eye test.
You do not have to attend a camp to be ranked, you do not have to follow me, you don’t even have to send your film. It’s my job to find as much talent that I can find in Pennsylvania and provide exposure to said kids who deserve it. I have at least 30-40 kids from our two camps alone, that are unranked, who’s performances have put them on the map. This article will shed some light on those from this past weekend’s who achieved this.
Expect a new updated rankings to drop sometime this June.
Luke Winterbottom | 6’0, 195 | ATH | Plymouth Whitemarsh | 2024
Here’s a running back with limited tape that showed off some real speed during his 40. Winterbottom posted a 4.57 40, which would have been the best recorded time had he attended our first even in January. His film shows good acceleration in open space, as well as some homerun hitting ability. All of this adds up when you see his straight-line speed in person.
Jake Yelton | 6’0, 210 | LB | Greencastle Antrim | 2023
Jake Yelton is a name that is flying up D2 boards more so because of his film than his performance at this camp. I gauged his interest amongst some D2’s I am close with and the interest is there. I hope and expect his recruitment to heat up, it certainly should after his senior year commences. Was a standout performer amongst linebackers. Stock rising.
Anthony Petrulo Anthony Petrulo 6'1" | 215 lbs | DL Norwin | 2023 State PA | 6’2, 225 | DL/LB | Norwin | 2023
Petrulo came as a linebacker, but has some quality tape with his hand in the dirt, rushing the passer. His ability as a edge rusher is what will inevitably get him ranked on the site next month. He’s a strong enough to push tackles into running lanes, something on tape that he validated in person. Little raw in terms of PR Skill-set but plenty of TFLs on tape. He proved he can move his feet athletically, showing he can provide reps at LB or TE if need be.
I’zhior Moon | 6’3, 280 | DL/OL | Central Dauphin | 2024
Talking with coaches in attendance while watching the defensive line work, I’zhior Moon caught the eye of some. Big kid who went into each rep hungry and ready to prove himself. I think this was one prospect who didn’t get shown the love he may have deserved. Hopefully we can change that with a possible ranking, although Moon has limited tape on his Hudl. His time will come.
Mario Landino | 6’3, 235 | DL/ATH | Emmaus | 2024
Mario Landino being unranked is a complete oversight on our part. This kid checks off so many boxes. Whether it be measurables, versatility, production, Landino scores a good mark in all areas. The young man also went on to show out against D1 competition at this event. His name will make an appearance on our latest updated 2024 rankings coming this June.
Dominic Toy Jr. | 6’5, 215 | TE/LB | Chester | 2024
Here’s a prospect that I am excited to cover this Fall. I didn’t attend nearly enough Chester games that I would have liked this past Fall, that’ll change, large in part because of the interest this kid has garnered. Production may be lacking, but Dominic Toy Jr. impressed enough of us at the camp to add him to our rankings. His size is undeniable, as is his athleticsm. He participated as a WR, but I know this kid could do damage along the defensive side of the ball. Excited to see him this Fall.
Cooper Lauersen | 6’5, 300 | OL/DL | Conwell-Egan | 2024
Cooper Lauersen weighed in at 302 pounds. The Conwell-Egan product ran a 5.47 40 time. That alone impressed me enough, as some offensive linemen couldn’t top that time despite being 25-35 pounds lighter than Lauersen. Props to him, as I can see his conditioning and training has paid off. Now for a successful junior campaign, excited to watch it unfold.
Angel Roberts Angel Roberts 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Milton Hershey | 2024 State PA | 6’0, 170 | ATH | Milton Hershey | 2024
Angel Roberts Angel Roberts 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Milton Hershey | 2024 State PA had a solid all-around camp performance, another prospect, much like I’zhior Moon, who didn’t get some of the shine he deserved during the event. Nonetheless, coaches at the camp took notice. Roberts testing scores go as follows.
4.62 40, 4.19 Shuttle, 9’0 Broad, 7.31 L.
Not a bad performance from the Milton Hershey sophomore. He showed the ability to extend and catch the ball away from his body. Also displayed the ability to accelerate past defenders when attacking vertically. Was just shy of a sub 4.6 40, which makes sense when you watch him test kids deep.
