Stone Saunders Stone Saunders 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Bishop McDevitt | 2025 State PA (Bishop McDevitt): Not only the top quarterback in the class of 2025 in the state of Pennsylvania, but Saunders is also one of the top quarterbacks in the country in the class. The Bishop McDevitt signal-caller. dominated as a freshman completing 63.5% of his passes for 3,037 yards, 46 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Flatout domination out of Saunders this season and we can’t wait to see what he does as a sophomore. On top of that, he shows all the traits you would want in a potential national-level quarterback recruit.
Brayden Fox (Brockway)
Fox put together a solid freshmen season for Brockway, completing 55.4% of his passes for 2,568 yards and 23 touchdowns. He did throw 16 interceptions on the season but we’re not too worried yet about those turnovers. Fox showed some quality traits as a freshman that he can build on going forward.
Carson Nagle (Bald Eagle Area)
The Bald Eagle signal-caller had a similar season to that of Fox, completing 58.1% of his passes for 1,897 yards and 16 touchdowns while throwing 14 interceptions. He shows quality arm strength and a nice touch on his passes. He also shows some great improvising traits when plays break down.
Jase Ferguson (Central Clarion)
Ferguson put together a quality freshman season as the starter for Central Clarion, completing 55.3% of his passes for 1,510 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Ashton Walk (Tyrone)
The Tyrone quarterback wasn’t asked to throw the ball a ton as a freshman but when he did he did a solid of doing so. He completed 58.6% of his passing attempts for 1,248 yards and 14 touchdowns while throwing just two interceptions. There’s a lot to like about Walk’s game and he’ll be someone we keep a close eye on going forward.
Shawn Lee (Harrisburg)
Lee like Walk didn’t throw the ball a lot for Harrisburg only totaling 159 passing attempts but he was impressive when he did, completing 62.3% of his passes for 1,121 yards and 10 touchdowns. Lee was really impressive for Harrisburg this season and has established himself as one of the state’s top freshman quarterbacks.
Overall, the class of 2025 is showing early promise at the quarterback position throughout the state. We plan on going through each position here on PrepRedzone Pennsylvania in the class, looking at key standouts. Of course, as just freshmen, it can be hard to ensure we’ve been able to check the boxes on every player possible, with that being said, if you believe there’s someone we should take a closer look at, please don’t be afraid to message me on Twitter @DylanCC_FB.
