In addition to providing elite training and experience gained from his time on Ohio State’s national title-winning team, Coach Holman took the camp attendees to visit Colorado State University and gave them valuable tips on the recruiting process.
There was no shortage of talented players at the event, and this article will look at eight standout athletes from the second day.
Celestino Reyes | La Cueva (NM) | 6’1”, 235lbs | 2023 DL/OL
If there were an award for the most improved player at the end of the event, Reyes would have been the apparent front-runner. During the position-specific drills, he started to stand out, where he showed excellent technique and form as an offensive guard. He has an explosive twitch that helps him fire off the ball and quickly get into his stance.
His skills as an offensive guard are impressive, but his talents as a defensive lineman were why he was able to steal the show. His explosive speed off the line, mixed with his quick hands and leverage, made him a problematic rusher to stop. Reyes is a talented player who proved himself to be a sleeper as a prospect.

Isaac Molina | La Cueva (NM) | 6’1”, 225lbs | 2023 OL
Molina quietly put on an extremely impressive showing during the two-day event. He is a technically sound player with reasonable body control and great strength as an offensive and defensive lineman. He has quick feet and does a great job of staying in front of his opponent while maintaining a broad base. His snaps come out fast, allowing him to get set while working his hands to keep a good position. Molina is a prospect who is a bit under-the-radar, but he deserves a closer look.

Joshua Nwankpa | Terrell (TX) | 6’5”, 340lbs | 2023 OL
Nwankpa has the size that quickly passes the eye test, making him an immediate standout. He is strong and possesses a lot of power in his hands. He shined as an interior offensive lineman because of his size and skill set. In addition to having great size and strength as a pass blocker, Nwankpa has the intangibles of being a dominant run blocker. Expect to see his name on a few recruiting boards this offseason.
Jalen Payne | Vista PEAK (CO) | 6’1”, 262lbs | 2024 OL/DL
Payne put on an impressive showing during the camp on both sides of the ball. His strength is what helped him capture the spotlight. His ability to use his frame and strength to out-muscle a defender as an offensive lineman also enabled him to drive opponents into the backfield as a defensive tackle. What helped him stand out was his willingness to immediately implement coaching corrections into his reps, making Payne a player to watch during his next two seasons.
Cory Hotel | Falcon (CO) | 6’3”, 237lbs | 2024 DL
Hotel was another player who instantly stood out because of his size. He comes off the line with a lot of power, which helps him drive his opponents into the backfield. He has the strength to be able to lean into a blocker and use his long arms to crowd a throwing lane. Hotel is a stock-raising player who brings size and power to the defensive front.
Thank you @TheCoachHolman for letting me compete in your lineman clinic this weekend. I had a great time and learned a lot on the field and in the classroom @fhsfootballteam @PlayBookAthlete pic.twitter.com/Fv3BQqJwZA

Cole Tappin | Desert Mountain (AZ) | 6’2”, 248lbs | 2025 OL
Tappin is another young player with a ton of potential, especially regarding his size. His frame makes him stand out because it is apparent that he has quite a bit of growth coming his way, which is a great thing seeing as he already has good size for his age. He has a quick first step that allows him to get into position quickly, which helps him to engage his opponent with a slight advantage. Tappin is a young player with an extremely bright future as a prospect.
Peyton Bucar | Columbine (CO) | 6’2”, 240lbs | 2025 OL/DL
Bucar is a young player with a very bright future ahead of him. He has good size with a solid frame that shows his potential to grow quite a bit. He has excellent power in his arms, which pairs significantly with his reach. Bucar will be entering his sophomore season in one of the state’s top programs for offensive linemen, making him a player to know early.
Skylar Sargent | La Cueva (NM) | 5’11”, 225lbs | 2026 OL/DL
Sargent was another attendee who will be entering his first year of high school this fall with a lot of promise. He has a solid frame, good strength, and quick movements, which helped him go toe-to-toe with the high school guys. He showed that he is versatile enough to play in multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Sargent is a young player with an extremely high ceiling who is on a path to becoming a very talented recruit.
