The three prospects below stood out significantly, all of which are talent from surrounding states. Goes to show just how far Prep Redzone’s reach has extended. We always welcome outside talent. In this rare instance, two out of the three listed below made 1st-Team All-Camp. They put all of us PA guys on notice.
Kerry Burns Jr. | 5’10, 184 | QB | Washington, D.C.
My first impression of Burns Jr. came after seeing a DC kid had signed up. I plugged in the film and that first impression turned out to be a great one. It was a quick look, enough to see that his total skillset was well-seasoned as it should be for the senior. The second lasting impression was made when turning on his tape for a second time, this time for a quick eval to all coaches in attendance. Now I could see if Burns Jr. could keep his mechanics tight, footwork clean, while going through half-field reads. He could. I saw tight-window seam throws from the opposite hash. I saw a crisp delivery. I saw a player who didn’t let his slightly undersized build deter him from scanning the field properly. Then, my last impression was seeing the kid live at the camp, where he was named a StockUp “Top Performer”.
Three impressions, three times I was left impressed. Sharp in terms of accuracy at all levels when watching his open-air reps. Hardly any wasted motion on delivery. I would love to see what Burns Jr. is capable of when things get really tough in the pocket. I know for a fact this kid impressed multiple coaches with his play last Friday night. We are hoping it surmounts to eventual offers and an eventual collegiate NLI signing. We hope that for all of our prospects.
The senior signal-caller is currently holding offers from Elizabeth City State University, Alvernia University, and Bluefield State University. He is currently uncommitted at the time of writing.

Angelo McCullom | 6’1, 238 | DL | Ohio
Here is one absolutely fun prospect to watch, either his film or in person. We had the pleasure of hosting one of Ohio’s best sophomore prospects in Angelo McCullom out of Olentangy HS. There is a ton to unpack when watching the tape, albeit an easy watch. The immediate trait that sticks out is his get-off at the snap. For a kid that was self-listed at 260, I couldn’t help but pause many of his reps and actually break down how quickly the kid was flying off the ball. This is equally quick when working in the interior, as well as with one/two hand/s in the dirt. What’s great is McCullom’s use of power at the end of his rush to finish plays with authority and attitude. His energy jumps off the screen. Everything I’ve stated thus far was also the case when seeing him live. He even seemed a bit slimmed down compared to his tape, which is only going to help his speed along with much-improved hand usage.
The build is D1, the get-off speed is D1, his ability to finish with power is that of a D1 prospect. It was a no-brainer to name him a camp “Top-Performer”. A really intriguing prospect because he’s only going to get better. I learned after the event that the sophomore led his defense in tackles, sacks, and TFLs. Here’s the film below. It’s a fun watch!
Only a matter of time before Power 5 schools begin to reach out. Do yourself a favor and be the first.

Jason Lindsay Jason Lindsay 5'10" | WR Baltimore Polytechnic | 2023 PA | 5’8, 168 | WR | Baltimore, MD
Here is a Baltimore area kid who wasn’t named a “Top Performer” at his position but was still selected as an All-Camp 2nd-Teamer which was much deserved! Loved seeing the subtlety in his feet and release. Awesome balance throughout the entirety of his routes. I don’t think Lindsay will have too much of a problem against physical defensive backs because of said balance. He’s willing to get physical himself, often gaining the leverage needed when stemming to beat his man. Lindsay came to the camp as a wideout, however, Lindsay’s most beneficial trait is by far his ability to impact the game from a myriad of different alignments and positions. I would have personally loved to see his defensive back capabilities up-close. Everyone wants to score touchdowns, which is understandable, but I see a potential quality DB in this kid.
Excelling at multiple positions is a great quality to have, just as not knowing where you may succeed the most is also a quality problem to have. Either way, we hope to see Lindsay again further down the line, showing more college programs what he’s capable of. One thing is for sure, he’s willing to outwork everyone in the room! Junior season is below.
